If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

I'm so impressed! Kris.  All your Christmas gifts are so nice - so thoughtful, and you did a lot of quilting on them!

Great work Willy!! I'd love to examine the casserole carrier more closely. Can always use that for gifts for the church ladies.

Kris, I just love all the goodies you made for gifts.  Scraps are good for something.  Some of my favorite things I have made started out as scraps from other projects.  I love them because when I look at them I remember the things the scraps are from.  Usually everything I keep for myself consists of scraps from things I made for others.  A lot of good memories in scraps.

Good job, Kris.

Zoe, the table runner, and the quilt right below it were both made from scraps I already had.  The placemats started as a kit for a set of mug rugs.  I bought extra fabric, and expanded them into placemats.  Some of the left overs from those ended up in the scrap quilt!    Both casserole carriers are also from scraps.  I like using them up!

Kris, I love the quilts you made up, well everything really.  I love the idea's. This year I want to start making scrap quilts, just to use up my fabric, but I think it would be fun too.

Making progress on all those Christmas projects.  Finished, wrapped, and sent off in the mail today a set of placemats, a table runner (or in this case, and on top of piano runner!) and two crib quilts.  Included is a crocheted purse with a doll in it, and the purse folds down into a cradle.  The doll comes out, is dressed and has a blanket.  Didn't get a picture of that one, but here's the rest.

Finished a casserole carrier, too.  Still working on another carrier, and some hot bowl holders.

Zoe, Yahoo has absolutely nothing to do with My Quilt Place...but if you use Yahoo for your email, you may find a change in your notifications, but only if their email services are effected by changes too. I have belonged to at least one Yahoo group in the past, and the moderators switched us over to " pro boards" because of hacking problems. The proboards was set up entirely differently, and wasn't very " photo friendly". This site is not affiliated with bottom of page, you will note it is " powered my NING" and is createc by American Quilter's Society.
