If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

Love your Baby Birdie quilt, Liz! Your pattern? Is this done with jelly roll cuts?

Elizabeth, love the birds, looks like Baby's mother loves it too.

Riana, so glad that the "Bugs" from the wall are going south with you.  I'm anxious to see what you do with them.  Don't think I could have waited until Spring.

Here we are standing in the exact spot that I take the photos of my quilts!

The goodies must wait for spring, though, because we leave for Fla. a week from today! I'm only bringing my Secret Santa gifts and several quilts l've completed for the children's hospitals that my Fla. group donates to. In spring when we come back, our home in Fla. will have sold. Our little trailer and suv will be packed with all the belongings we took south over the past few years. Some will just need to be sold in a garage sale, and some will be donated to thrift store. My design wall has the bug impromtu quilt on it, and l'll play with that until end of week, then pack it to finish down south.  l have an isolette cover on my quilt frame to finish quilting before we leave.

Tomorrow we take the grandkids ( 8,11 & 13) out for their Christmas shopping trip from gramma and papa :-))

So good that you two, Riana and Elizabeth, were able to connect for a visit.  One of these days I hope to meet up with several of you.  Of course living near Las Vegas, it is a great meet up place … we even have 3 really great quilt shops in the area.

Like everyone, cannot wait to see what Riana creates with her "goody package".

I bought it from a company called Bug fabric in Washington state. I guess while I am waiting, I can wrap Christmas gifts.

So nice that you could take your mom out to lunch with 2 friends and have fun, Zoe.  My mom passed when she was 81.  She would be 95 this year.  I can't imagine what it would be like talking to her at that age.  She would be happy for me, but she would be sad for some of her descendants and happy for others.

Zoe, Essentiel Fabrics' site has some good ideas for panels.  Where did you order from?
