If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

Elizabeth, I think I am identifying with you a bit.  My Paul is younger and determined to do everything.  But he is getting more accident prone, and forgetful.  I feel conflicted about leaving him behind when I play at the library.  I am trying to finish up this last library project, maybe 4 more months, then I really need to think about staying home ready to dial 911.

Yes, My sutures are supposed to dissolve by the first week of Feb. but Dr. Pogh  thinks the ones sticking out should be looked at the same time the eye surgeon is checking Doug.  We are mixing things up at home and Doug is slowly changing what he has been doing.  We are hoping to add seniors exercise too in front of UTube.

Zoe, that sounds like a fun project... but the picture seems to have " double loaded", and won't open.

Liz, it's tough for a man to give up driving. Most Doug's age gained their " freedom" at 16 with their licence... a right into manhood of sorts. So sorry another in your household needs that eye surgery. Aren't your sutures the " dissolving" kind?

Zoe, I'm much better today.  Hubby was depressed yesterday.  He decided to give up driving.  So I did some groceries and picked up prescriptions at the pharmacy.  Even the pharmacy left his work and came and wished me a Happy New Year.  Today I drove us across town to the optometrist for our appts.  Doug needs the same eye surgery I just had and needs new glasses and I need to see the eye surgeon about loose sutures.  I drove home with the drops still in my eyes.  He feels better today too.  So we're going to try to have a nice, relaxing week-end.

My cousin has been busy making " Easter Frogs" . We just got the idea to do this and one thing started another, so I send her the fabric and she does this.. then I will add a book on a frog story, and gummy frogs for Easter.. ( why not?) She has made 16 of these now. She paints on the eye's. She also put ribbon around the girl frogs.

This one does not have the eye's yet.  This one is for a little boy out by her.

Deanna, Congratulations on getting all ten of your quilts done!  You are really on a roll.  I have to go to the pharmacy to pick up prescriptions and stuff for Hubby and then I'm going to M&M to pick up enough frozen food to fill my little freezer on top of my fridge.  Doug likes easy to prepare food - I tell him he could open a restaurant he is such a good chef!
