If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

Thank you, Elizabeth. Had my first follow up visit with the surgeon yesterday. He said it may be swollen up to another 2 weeks but the stitches will probably fall out next week. I see him and my primary doctor next week. I'm healing well. Can't wait till I can brush my teeth again!!! I just have this antiseptic mouthwash to prevent further infection he gave me. I'm thankful I don't have to eat via intravenously!!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Love the poems and the stories.  Seven husbands, wow!!!!  I think I would have stopped after burying three.  A very big WOW for burning down the out house!  I had to wait for Great Grand Daughters for "girly" ones.  Daughters had all the neighborhood boys scared of them, Grand daughters were hunters and rode motor bikes.  Finally have my little girls who love pink and purple and like to wear dresses.  Hope you all have a wonderful Day.

Kris , my daughters wore black or jeans. My oldest ( mommy of " girlie") still dresses dull while little Erika enjoys her rainbow dresses! Lol. My dd can't figure out where her daughters' taste came from...but l'm noticing her hubby's sister and mom are "fashionistas" l guess that's the scource, lol.

Ginny, I love your poem!  I do wish the last line would happen, but I know better, lol.

Linda, enjoy the dinner you didn't have to cook!!!!  And hurry up and get all well, okay?

Riana, I had two boys and then a daughter.  I SO wanted her to be a girly girl.  Nope.  Tomboy from the very beginning.  Couldn't keep bows or headbands in her hair, even when she was just born.  Her favorite clothes colors:  black, grey, brown and camo.  Sigh.  She's a grown up now, and no different.

Enjoy your day, ladies!  I'm thankful for this group, the laughs they give me, the beautiful things they create that inspire me, and the ideas they have for me when I'm stuck on how to quilt something!

Hope you all enjoy a lovely day with family tomorrow. My littlest grandd. is across the continent, but we can Face time( like Skype). She wants grandma to make her an old fashioned cloak as she hates coats....and she's only 3 1/2! She is a girlie girl and very interested in u like her tomboy mom & aunt. Where were these genes when l was an at home mom who loved to sew? I ended up making marble bags and horsepads for saddles!

Indy and I wish everyone a very Happy and Thankful Thanksgiving. Indy will be eating the turkey and I get the soft stuff....LOL. A friend is bringing a plate from the Thanksgiving potluck for us. I've been guarantined due to my infection and low immune system. I'm on very, very mega doses of antibiotics. Had my first follow up visit today and got the thumbs up.

Love the poem, Ginny.

You are quite welcome my friend. Miss visiting with you Barbara.

Liz, I believe you!! It reminded me of Arsenic and Lace. To sweet little old ladies and there mercy killings. I'm sure your sweet little Gisele is a wonderful family memory and a joy to know.

Just finished two pillow for my daughter and her husband. He likes Wolves and her middle name is Joy so his pillow has wolves and hers has the word JOY in gold letters and designs around it. Also this week finished  36 tissue holders, purse size for our Ladies Christmas Party.

Ginny your poem is a riot, love it.

And Happy Thanksgiving to all of you, with all my love.

Linda.Thanks my little friend!!

May your stuffing be tasty
May your turkey be plump,
May your potatoes and gravy
Have nary a lump.
May your yams be delicious
And your pies take the prize,
And may Thanksgiving dinner
Stay off of your thighs!

Happy Thanksgiving to each and every one of you!
