UFOs

If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

I make the same thing up with leftover mashed potatoes too. Left over baked potatoes are left in larger chunks, and become " home fries".

Okay...when l was in high school l worked weekends at a truck diner.

Hash browns from french fries. Chop the fries while cold into little cubes. Chop up a slice ( or 2 ) of onion. If you like, add some cooked sausage pieces or cooked bacon crumbles. Toss in frying pan preheated with a  it of olive oil. Medium/ hot temp. When the onions are translucent, or you feel it's hot enough, serve. This is for leftovers...so no measuring, lol. I had 1/2 an ltalian sausage from making lasagnia the night before. Served it with egg ,( hubby added toast too.)

Thank you Barbara and Kris.

Ginny, Riana should definitely share her recipe for doggy bag French fries.  It sounds really yummy.  I think that I could make them too, but Doug and I so rarely order French fries that when we do, we gobble them all up and there is nothing to take home.

Oh! I meant to ask- Riana, want to share the recipe for old french fries? I can never eat all of mine and this intrigues me.
