If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

Riana, your orphan quilt is adorable - front and back!

Linda, both of those quilts are beautiful.  I'm sure their new owners will love them very much.

I'm 67, my oldest granddaughter is 23, and she is the mother of a 1 year old.  My youngest daughter is 25 and is expecting their third.  Total of 11 grands, plus the one on the way.

Linda, congrats on the graduating grandson!  Best of wishes to him.  Hope he enjoys this summer.

Wear goggles when using it, Mary. Bits of wood can fly up i to eyes when cutting at carving angles. You may also need a special diamond chip chain. Lots of books on the subject , and also you tube  instructional videos...just google " carving bears using chain saw"... l couldn't believe all the info out there!

love looking and inspiring finished quilts.

Think I told you I got a 10 inch chain saw for my birthday...I'm off to look at how to carve big bears.  Maybe it will scare off the one who keeps visiting.

Thank you, Riana and Barbara.

I've got you beat, Barbara.  Jackson is 18 and I'm 74.  You have some catching up to do.

I've been machine quilting a panel called "Hidden Path"  by Northcott.  It is going quilckly .

I know what you mean, Kathy. I was so not in a place to hear that my gr'daughter was graduating from HS. I do NOT feel old enough for this!

Lovely autumn ad lib quilt, Riana! How big is this one? Your quilts always are so well designed!

Love your pic w/ your gr'son, Elizabeth! What a handsome young man! You and your hubby look pretty good, too! :c))

You know you are getting older when a friend from high school writes you a letter to let you know that her great-granddaughter is enjoying the quilt you made for her first child in 1973.  Say "what??"  I can't be that old.  I am babysitting by granddaughter today... Knowing that a friend my same age has a great-grandchild, really makes me feel older than I think of myself as being.
