If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

Wilma, we are the lucky ones having a cleaning person (mine is female).  And your Hubby will approve of mine too because I'm 74.

Elizabeth, half the strawberries were correct, so I had to fix that. I was just glad I had taken the picture and saw it that way.

Wilma, that is great you have someone coming in to help you. When I used to clean homes I liked having a list. I did this when I was going to collage and had more energy, but each of the people I cleaned homes for would have a list for me, this was nice so that I got what was important to them done.

Thank you Linda, Beth has one of my quilts now and one more on the way... so don't

Barbara, oh... that would be so frustrating with the one block, when I first started quilting I ran into issues like that. Now, okay, I still run into issues like I have one on the wall for my mom that I put away because I ran into so many issues.. it will now turn into a throw quilt !

Riana, thank you !!!  When I told my nephew I was making a quilt for his girl friend, I told him to let it be a surprise. He waited 4 phone calls before he gave in and told  She told him it made her feel " accepted". So, I am thrilled to be meeting her in a month and be able to give her,her own quilt.

We are headed home from CA today.  Ready for my own bed.  Graduation was fun.  He looks so happy to start next phase of life.  He and his brother will fly up to NV on July 13th for a week.  Lots planned, then we will meet their parents at CO river where they will play....too old for all that sun lol.

The next 2 Monday early mornings I have “reservations” to use the long arm machine in sewing room.  I hope to quilt 3-4 small quilts tomorrow and the 1 small and 1 large QOV the next Monday.  Hope I will have the crazy heart ready to quilt.

You all look so busy.  Oh...yes I have a housekeeper every 2 weeks.  I can no longer clean my floors (all tile).  Just too hard on back.  Hubby said it was a necessity when I turned 74.

Zoe, I love your 2 quilts!  I have a thing for getting the directions right when making quilts, but I don't think I would have taken out the strawberries.  If the quilt is going to a non-quilter, I have a suspicion that the person will never see the upside-down strawberries. LOL  But we all know that your quilt is perfect now!

This morning after I did my exercises I updated my quilting scrapbook.  All 850 quilting projects are photographed and recorded.  Now I am getting my great grandson's scrapbook up-to-date.

Way to go, Linda!  Waiting to see your finished quilts.

Great job, Zoe!

Have to bind 2 quilts and I'll have 2 UFOs done! Photos later this week...I hope. If I have the energy.

Beth, another quilt will be on it's way to you later this week. Finished the backing yesterday.

Zoe, Great job. I've done the same  I've recently had a problem with sashing stips meeting. Found out that one small sq out of the block was 1/8 each off and had to take that square out and put one in the right size. FRUSTRATION!!!! Your nephews girlfriend will love it.

Zoe, don't you just hate it when you feel like you're done...then notice a mistake. Glad you found it BEFORE quilting it,lol. Both are perfect quilts for them.

Oh, the one with the strawberries, I realized the strawberries were upside down, I fixed that. It was 2 am when I first put that border on.

This is the one I made for my nephew, I had posted this one before.

I got my nephews girl friends quilt done. They both are vegetarians and my nephew had requested a quilt.  I had plenty of fabric left to make this one. I only added the bee's, lady bugs and strawberries to her's.
