If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

Linda, praying you won't need dialysis. Sounds like you're still getting things done. Hope the pain management works.

Very funny Riana! Wish I could say that much of my dust comes from sewing, but I don't sew much these days as my pain level is so very high and my energy level very low. My AZ doctor is sending me to pain management for my back and hip pain. OK those in the SS group here is my diagnosis and the reason for my low energy level. I have kidney disease stage 3...not life threatening yet. My kidneys are not filtering properly. It does mean a dietary change which I'm working on prior to seeing the specialist who I can't get into see until August. I'm on a list in case of cancellations. Right now I'm napping a lot along with Indy. Recently Indy was found to have epilepsy and vitamin B12 deficiency (may be cause for non-eating/drinking and seizures). He's now on anti-seizure medication, B12 injections, and oral appetite stimulates. Most of my dust is from being in Arizona. However, thanks to Beth's amazing quilting I am getting some binding on a couple quilts done. And I did manage to get the last 2 borders on a quilt and the backing made so I can send to Beth for quilting later this week. Pictures coming soon.

Linda, l wonder how much of your " dust" is really fabric lint, lol. We live on a gravel road, so dust settles on many of our plants in garden. Thankfully, our house is set back quite far. I have cat dander, and lint, mostly. I put used dryer sheets ( no longer scentec) between air registers and grills. Keeps dust / lint from flying around house since our air exchanger or ac goes most of time summers and furnace in winter. Also, a good heppa furnace filter in season works wonders( if changed often). 2 of my kids had dust allergies, so l learnec from that.

Catching up today .. went for an impromptu drive to Springfield MO this weekend, I actually got Doug outta the house ! We had to take sister's dog back to her as she had been promised a pickup near me, which then got cancelled and she was off to MD instead. So, get home from work, pack a bag and GO ! And we remembered all the dog stuff too :)  Since we were there however, had to go to a quilt store lol Was able to pick up some additional bobbins for my sewing machine, some knit fabric for grand dresses, and of course had to replenish my WOW supply as I am totally out and new grands are coming July 1st .. so there are 3 more quilts to do quickly lol

Loving all the finishes .. I need to get Doug off on his trip so I can sew while he is away .. being on this dog diet is so freeing but I do miss them terribly. And if I see any puppies, I pet and smell, and walk away.

Stitch on !!

Mary, living where you do I'm not surprised that you have bear problems. I bet it doesn't smell as good as your dogs!!!! I think the joke would work for dog hair too. It always comes back....LOL

Do the dust jokes work for dog hair???

Having issues with a bear, my car is in the shop now...the bear looks better groomed than my dogs.
