If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

Catching up today .. went for an impromptu drive to Springfield MO this weekend, I actually got Doug outta the house ! We had to take sister's dog back to her as she had been promised a pickup near me, which then got cancelled and she was off to MD instead. So, get home from work, pack a bag and GO ! And we remembered all the dog stuff too :)  Since we were there however, had to go to a quilt store lol Was able to pick up some additional bobbins for my sewing machine, some knit fabric for grand dresses, and of course had to replenish my WOW supply as I am totally out and new grands are coming July 1st .. so there are 3 more quilts to do quickly lol

Loving all the finishes .. I need to get Doug off on his trip so I can sew while he is away .. being on this dog diet is so freeing but I do miss them terribly. And if I see any puppies, I pet and smell, and walk away.

Stitch on !!

Mary, living where you do I'm not surprised that you have bear problems. I bet it doesn't smell as good as your dogs!!!! I think the joke would work for dog hair too. It always comes back....LOL

Do the dust jokes work for dog hair???

Having issues with a bear, my car is in the shop now...the bear looks better groomed than my dogs.

If I don't move the dust, I don't sneeze!! LOL

Saw a funny saying on Pinterest today....

I dusted once. It came back. I'm not falling for that again!!!

Wilma, we are the lucky ones having a cleaning person (mine is female).  And your Hubby will approve of mine too because I'm 74.

Elizabeth, half the strawberries were correct, so I had to fix that. I was just glad I had taken the picture and saw it that way.

Wilma, that is great you have someone coming in to help you. When I used to clean homes I liked having a list. I did this when I was going to collage and had more energy, but each of the people I cleaned homes for would have a list for me, this was nice so that I got what was important to them done.

Thank you Linda, Beth has one of my quilts now and one more on the way... so don't

Barbara, oh... that would be so frustrating with the one block, when I first started quilting I ran into issues like that. Now, okay, I still run into issues like I have one on the wall for my mom that I put away because I ran into so many issues.. it will now turn into a throw quilt !

Riana, thank you !!!  When I told my nephew I was making a quilt for his girl friend, I told him to let it be a surprise. He waited 4 phone calls before he gave in and told  She told him it made her feel " accepted". So, I am thrilled to be meeting her in a month and be able to give her,her own quilt.
