If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

Dee, that overwhelmed feeling is maybe partly due to grief. Many of us have shared similar. Have a safe trip and a nice visit. Leave the'll be far too busy.

Catching up this morning, have been sick (pollen infused), and now Doug is down with a real cold, of course, he is much worse than I was (not really). Washing towels, bedding, etc before I go to QOV this morning so we won't continue to have this floating around the house. I am leaving Thurs after work to go to NC to see grands, so bopping across the states to visit family and friends on the way to son's house. Praying for no storms as tornadoes have been hi in MS, LA, AL, GA .. going the southern route from here through Memphis, and down to GA then north through SC and off to son in E NC .. maybe I should take my sewing machine  lol

Everyone is so busy and I am feeling overwhelmed just looking at my sewing room, but this weekend I have to clean it up and get my sister's quilt out and back to her, so this morning's sewing will help me to start that .. now when I clean I don't have the dog hair everywhere as we lost Cruzer 2 wks ago … it's hit us pretty hard. I still think I can do something with him and then I remember ..

Stitch on !

Linda,  I can see those Northerners heading your way.

My on the planning wall quilt has 70 right side, and 70 left side blocks...I was so careful putting them up...the last one is the wrong side for the space.  I can't find its mate!

No snow here! That's my drive and patio which is a very light gray. The temps here are in the high 80s and 90s. Hence reason for making protect my fabrics from the blistering sun.

Meanwhile, the irises I brought from Ohio love the AZ sun. They are blooming like crazy.  So are the Tombstone roses.

We are expecting snow tomorrow also. But hoping it will bypass us. Or it could turn out to be a snow/rain mix.

Linda, great job on the roman shade.

It's pretty bad in Ottawa.  Our mayor has called in the armed forces to deal with the flooding emergency.  Hubby and I had breakfast early this morning with our son and it has started raining.  Rain is in the forecast for today and tomorrow.

I'm going to my Yoga for Seniors class soon and this afternoon I'm setting up a quilt show and sale at a nearby Church.  I am putting 5 wall hangings in for sale.  I'm running out of space to store my quilts so I really hope something will sell.  Charities seldom want wall hangings.

Linda, your Roman shades are very nice!

Love your tied roman shade, Linda! You're feathering your nest!

if it weren't for the flowers, I would think Linda has snow.
