If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

Just talked with my brother Dave. The one who lost 2 1/3 fingers, He is doing well and even went back to the wood cutter to overcome his fear and did great!! He thought he'd never do that again. I told him about a girl who was babysitting in Africa and they all went swimming and a crocodile showed up and bit off her leg. When she recovered she went to a resturant that served crocodile and ordered crocodile. Yuck!! He calls  his hand "His lucky fin" (Finding Nemo)  He is also back to his camera work. When he gets a job as stage manager he gives the orders to the camera men but when he gets a job as camera man he calls in ahead of time to find out what he will need to do. If he will have to use his right hand or his left. He can do the work but his fear is that when they find out he has only 2 2/3 fingures on his right hand they will call and cancel. He is writing with two fingers on his right hand.

Happy Birthday, Mary. So glad you are having apple pie, roses and rose bushes with your favorite people and started your new knitting project. Best of wishes for the whole year.

Happy Birthday to me...Happy Birthday to me.  Paul made a delicious apple pie, I got roses and rose bushes from the library folk.  And I spent the day starting a new knitting project to get in shape for the "tour de sock".  What a lovely day!

Mary, I have a sheep, pig, cow and frog finger puppets also. I was cleaning out the sunday school storage room yesterday and I was overwhelmed by the memories in that room of songs and puppet show and stories, the kids and workers. It was lots of work but worth it all.

Linda, San Raphael sounds like the place for you, then, since both lndy and you will have support out there... and no harsh winters! Good luck. At least the housing market is still healthy...selling now would be perfect , as most want to move in summer. Your lovely garden will certainly be a selling point.
