If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

Pesky little guys.  So sorry.  Hopefully they don't reproduce before you get them out of the house.

Mice, Mildew and a little Dry Rot!  Sounds like a song.  Spent weekend washing everything in the trailer, and watching Paul start to replace the roof.  Then the mice moved into the house's kitchen on Sunday night...more washing and scrubbing and arrrggg!

QPAD !!  I must own this as well  lol  So many projects to make and I can create, start and drool all at the same time.  But I just can't sew this fast  lol

I had dreams this weekend, I really did.  Severe storms, then gloomy, hard to sew.  Had a QOV binding day as we got back 10 quilts from the quilter.  Quilters used poly batt .. ugh, I hate poly batt.  We did receive this grant $$, we are buying rolls of batting for our quilters !! ;0

<and back to work -- someone in our house has to do it !>

Linda, no secret, I set myself a goal of 10 projects per month to complete.  Yeah, seems over the top, but a simple potholder is a project or a mug rug.  The sad part is that my last ufos are all quilts.  I have about 15 of those waiting to be quilted.  Even more overwhelming is that they need custom work on them.  They will be done, I am sure of it.

I really love going up to my sewing room. It's quiet and peaceful and I turn on some good music or listen to the radio. I just don't get up there enough. To many things keep calling.

Beth, you give us the strength an encouragement to continue.  If you can do it, we all can :)

Working on elephant tonight, outlining Cooper and his date of birth .. slow and steady. Then I will pick a design to float up from top to bottom to anchor the sandwich .. something easy but maybe not FMQ .. must get a slider I think...

And back to it :)

Ah shucks Barbara, thanks.  It is totally a God thing in my opinion.  I do have that QPAD (OCD according to doctors) that I use quilting to deal with it.  Hubby sometimes can't cope, but heck it keeps me out of bad places both physically and mentally. LOL  It is what I do.  I figure once I get these done, I can than do my kits which are not cut up and not started at all, just waiting there for me.  Plus I have all those scraps to work with, I am definitely good for a few years yet on not buying lots of new stuff.  Good thing I have a job, how many I could get done then.
