If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

Get to make little coin purses for nieces and grands today, plus bake goodies with the kids.  Is going to be fun in my house.

Elizabeth - great quilt especially in double!!!!

Mary - I don't know which is worse the migraine or the sinus infection. I'm coughing now that everything is breaking up. Does wonders for the migraine. My ears are becoming unclogged too.

Marcia--you better get a couple things started or we can't have you in the UFO'S-just  kidding, of course.

Linda-How is migraine?  Can't imagine having that plus sinus.

Karen, I really like the recycled labels idea...except that I usually write a teaser on my labels to confuse the recipient.

Elizabeth, "Mi Vida Loca" was worth the wait to see. So clear and sparkly.

I have the quilting done on the 1st BOM from the Batik group...haven't been able to cut binding as I haven't been home before 4PM for the last three days.  This one needed to be done by January for the Storytelling Festival Brochure.

Went to the animal shelter for a conference on the malamute, Scilly.  She is doing very well training with people, and is slightly less aggressive with other dogs while wearing muzzle.  The psychologist/trainer feels that in 6 months she would behave if constantly watched and corrected; and that she is not a good match for us given that we are the shelter's last resort foster home for elderly and special needs dogs.  So we signed off on Scilly- and they wouldn't even let me say,"Goodbye."  I consoled myself by taking  two 9 yr old sisters long haired calicoes home.  They have been in the shelter since August when their person died.  They are hiding out in the bathroom, with black cat watching the door.  Maybe I better set out a second litter box.

Elizabeth - your quilt is wonderful.

I'm with Rogue and Karen - beautifully wrapped packages under the tree - it just makes everything look so pretty and warm.  Our grandchildren have to keep looking every time they are here, and we don't have any of their presents under the tree.  They are all in a closet.  Some times when we have a very special gift for one of them, we will send them on a treasure hunt.  They just love it.

Merry Christmas to you Kris/

I want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year. I've been busy & haven't been on. Decided I better post before I totally forget...

Elizabeth, that is absolutely beautiful.  I love the fabrics and colors.  You did an amazing job.

Elizabeth, LOVE that quilt! The colours really make those stars pop. That must've been one fun top to put together...wish we could see her quilting. If the backing is plain, maybe you could take a closeup?
