Tiny Town a funtastic place for UFO group members to live.

Tiny Town  is our safe haven when life gets crazy. We are all healthy and happy here, because we know our neighbours and friends living here are quilters too. To buy a small house in Tiny Town, you must perform one random act of kindness , and to buy a larger home ( 2 chimnies), you'll be performing 2 random acts of kindness. All houses have large sewing rooms, and have been built to last.Large homes have storage for more stash, but smaller homes have bigger yards.  Here you can have housemates from your past, alive or otherwise, your present spouce ( only if you wish, lol) as well as pets from past or present. I know you will be responsible pet owers and thoughtfull neighbours, because this is just that kind of place.  Only houses on the back are for sale.

I will try to be there. Bring dessert and punch, right? OK My time is 12:30.

That's great, Riana.  I'll be there at 3:30 my time.

I had a sore arm last night and also today.  I am making a quilt for my neighbour.  She bought a kit from a quilt store in Elmira and added the backing and batting so I just have to sew it, sandwich it, and quilt and bind it.  Everything is there, I think.  Her grandson's birthday is in August so I'll get it done this month.

See you in Tiny town this  afternoon!

I hope everyone who is able will come! I still need a volunteer to lend another picnic or folding table.. We're supplying roasted corn on the cobb, hotdogs, hamburger or veggie burgers, and tossed salad. Oh and birthday cake from Tiny Town Bakery! Please bring dessert and punch! ( and the recipes if you wish to share). Swimsuits are optional. Shorts or capris will do. Sturdy shoes if rock climbing. If bringing grandkids we'd better have a volunteer lifeguard and a lifebuoy ring...just in case. No danger of a current, but some parts are a bit deep for shorter children.

TIME...3:30 eastern standard,  2:30 central, 1:30 mountain, and 12:30 pacific. Linda, l know Arizona doesn't use daylight saving time, so you'll figure it out on your own. Wilma's not in Az right now. Everyone's welcome! Bring friends and realatives! We'll have a big birthday cake with sparklers on it too!

I would be late tomorrow.  My library volunteer comes at noon on Wed.(yes, I am a volunteer now also, but I still have my keys.)  If I give up my keys it will truly be the end...I love having library keys!

Comment by Riana Noyes on July 5, 2021 at 2:26pm

Ok Linda, l think that cinches it...l travel on 14th and will be busy jumping thru red tape ( testing, papers) a  2-3 days before.

Anytime before July 15 is okay with me. After that, I'll be tied up with my eye surgeries till the end of the month. I won't have another free day till August.

By the way, puppy is in the oven. The breeder says the end of August or beginning of September. Woohoo!

How does everyone feel about the 7th of July...a Wed. at 12:30 Pacific time ( 3 pm eastern standard)? Or would you rather do it later in the month. The 7th may not give everyone time to plan the food menu.

Ginny, l have no idea where in the real world...but in Tiny Town, the old quarry is a ' stone's throw' ( he he) from Stonehenge, which is bottom right house at outer edge of town.

Sounds good to me.  We are enjoying life lakeside with my husband’s family.  Having great fun.  Expecting rain end of week.  Happy 4th every.

Happy 4th of July, everyone! I would love to jump into the rock quarry! Where is this, Riana? Putting my feet in Mary's pool looks enticing, too! It has been too #$%$ hot around here!

Comment by Linda Koller on July 3, 2021 at 10:40pm

I love Mary's porch, but that rock quarry is calling my name! I'm not a swimmer, but I love climbing around the rocks.

Happy Birthday to our July girlfriends! Because of the drought, let's forget the fireworks this year. Please keep your pets indoors so they don't get spooked when there are fireworks.

The old rock quarry...perfect picnic site!

Comment by Riana Noyes on July 3, 2021 at 8:27pm

We can host the party at Stone Henge in the old rock quarry pool ( it's not too far away, ). There's a floating dock/ deck, and paddle boats! Can someone loan a couple of extra foldup tables...there's one large picnic table there already, and plenty of shade trees.

Oh Mary, l l♡ve your porch!

Hey there Birthday Girls... time to get party plans rolling here. Besides our July4th gal Wilma, who else has a July birthday? I know Liz is another...

This is not a Better Homes and Gardens Cover.  But it is comfy.  I knit with my feet in a few inches of water, and the dogs love it as a water bowl. The funny looking wooden tub on legs is an old sewing storage basket.  Now if I could get rid of mosquitoes and flies.

Comment by Mary Moore on June 30, 2021 at 7:16pm

Can we do the party at someone's pool?

It has been over 100 for the last week here.  We were given an above ground pool, but the drought makes us hesitant to set it up.

I love the look of a Lemon Meringue pie. Yours is beautiful, Riana! I have never made one. I've only made Lemon Bars.

Comment by Wilma Schirra-Kays on June 26, 2021 at 12:38pm

I may make a batch of these…I often change up the honey ham for turkey or beef (or make a combo).  Great for a group gathering…of course one batch wouldn’t be enough for my grandsons LOL
