Tiny Town a funtastic place for UFO group members to live.

Tiny Town  is our safe haven when life gets crazy. We are all healthy and happy here, because we know our neighbours and friends living here are quilters too. To buy a small house in Tiny Town, you must perform one random act of kindness , and to buy a larger home ( 2 chimnies), you'll be performing 2 random acts of kindness. All houses have large sewing rooms, and have been built to last.Large homes have storage for more stash, but smaller homes have bigger yards.  Here you can have housemates from your past, alive or otherwise, your present spouce ( only if you wish, lol) as well as pets from past or present. I know you will be responsible pet owers and thoughtfull neighbours, because this is just that kind of place.  Only houses on the back are for sale.

Barbara, that sounds like fun.  I have been following a group Postcards 2020 on FB and Instagram.  Never heard about it, but they create fabric postcards and send out to a person each month. Some are so cute.  A put a picture below.  I also have been making hearts and following I Found A Quilted Heart group.  They make hearts from leftover fabric and leave them for people to find.  I have 60 made so far, once we can move around more, I will leave them in places for people to find.

We're glad to have you in Tiny Town, Carla! I'll mark #30 as " sold".

Barbara that might be a splendid idea for the future, but will have to be put to a vote...many here are up to their necks in projects...adding more would be stressful.Let's wait.

Wecome to the neigborhood, Carla. Your right next door.

I had a thought that each month we could each take turns at hosting a project that we could all do and vote on the best. Like book covers, mug rugs, book markers, door know messages or maybe something like painted stones etc... Some great ideas on pinterest. Just a thought.

Oh Carla, you are just 3 doors away.  We will have to plan some innovative quilts.  I just signed up for the new Mystery Quilt ... doesn’t start until September.  Perhaps we can share a few quilting stories too.  This should be a fun neighborhood....dropped off another 50 ear savers for delivery to our local hospital.

Barbara, isn’t it nice to have your house paid for?  Looking forward to our first big neighborhood function...a BBQ perhaps!  Also thinking I should buy a small house for my mom.  Maybe close to me.  She fell today and looks terrible, we cannot get in to see her.  Hospice nurse said she would check on her again tomorrow...we will do a window visit.

I did my two deed of kindness. So my house is paid for. However that seems so small I think I should do two more deeds of kindness to make sure I've have fully paid my due.

Hi Barbara, I have been hiding out like everyone else. Lol

Just decided to keep focused on my projects and trying not to get too distracted. I have been able to finish 2 or 3 quilt tops and all 7 of my neice and nephew quilts and get them delivered!

Plus I was having major issues with my phone and this web site. It was irritating me very badly. This new phone seems to connect much better. I will post my finishes.

Carla where have you been? Nice to see you again. Maybe you've been on and I haven't seen you. I'm glad you haven't disappeared. Buy a house you have some fun.

Mary you are hilarious!! Good idea, Deanna! Sure thing,Linda. I better not be the baker, it's too tempting. Melanie, I'm glad you like my house. Pretty nice I think!!

This looks interesting! Lol

Mary, Tiny Town is in a very protected area. We do have 4 seasons, but not extreme weather, no droughts, bad storms, or blizzards. There's a dog park in with the " people park" ( located beyond fence on bottom front of quilt!)

Dee, the houses taken so far are...#4 , 18, 27, 31, 37, 41, 44, 47, 48, 49 ...all the rest are available at this moment. Houses are numbered from top row left to right 1 thru 7, second row left to right 8-14 and so on.  One act of random kindness buys a small house with large lot, and 2 acts buys a big 2 chimney  house. All have very large bright sewing rooms, heating, ac etc. The big ones have more storage space but smaller gardens. You don't have to report what your acts of kindness are(only if you want to), but they must be current or near future.

Ask the mayor! But if everything else is perfect...don't gain weight, have all our former pets, no illness, etc...we should have perfect weather too, don't you think?

Is Tiny Town climate controlled?

Comment by Linda Koller on August 9, 2020 at 12:18pm

Great idea, Gail. Thank you hubby for volunteering! Can't believe I'll be well enough to walk 4 dogs...WOO HOO!!!! To have my furbabies with me again!

Comment by Gail Brown on August 9, 2020 at 12:10pm

Maybe we can have some Doggie Stations like we have here at the apartments where I live that have poop bags and disposal containers.  My hubby says he would attend to those several times a day as needed.  Well, actually I told him he could and he agreed since this is all virtual and not reality as e says.  I do think because of all the work Riana is doing to keep this town up and running she should have the title of Mayor of Tiny Town as well as the Founder.  Maybe we can make it official at our first community tea party.

Comment by Linda Koller on August 9, 2020 at 11:55am

ROFLOL!!!! We will need an area for exercise with all the tea parties I'm going to have! LOL Hope there is a pool so I can do my water aerobics.

Comment by Mary Moore on August 9, 2020 at 11:48am

We need a vacant lot just off the quilt where all the animals will go to umm.... go.

Paul wants one of the bigger houses to teach contra and square dancing.  We could also use it for yoga, exercise, large family gatherings, etc.
