Inspiring Quilters, Stitch by Stitch
Tiny Town is our safe haven when life gets crazy. We are all healthy and happy here, because we know our neighbours and friends living here are quilters too. To buy a small house in Tiny Town, you must perform one random act of kindness , and to buy a larger home ( 2 chimnies), you'll be performing 2 random acts of kindness. All houses have large sewing rooms, and have been built to last.Large homes have storage for more stash, but smaller homes have bigger yards. Here you can have housemates from your past, alive or otherwise, your present spouce ( only if you wish, lol) as well as pets from past or present. I know you will be responsible pet owers and thoughtfull neighbours, because this is just that kind of place. Only houses on the back are for sale.

So cute, Wilma!!
Ha ha, Wilma...just noticed the home knit socks on the illustration...and a bit of a patch on the coat indicates a quilter for sure :-))
Just a little reminder...Our Tiny Town tea party is this Saturday, September 5 at 3:00 pm EST (that's noon AZ time). Can't wait to see the fancy dresses and hats. I have some fancy hats available if anyone needs one...let me know.
Well now that we're all back from " vacation away from home" l think we're all glad to be here again :-)) Linda, l'm sure you're relieved that the la dee dah tea party is still on!
I'll be happy to take any dog that wants to go walking in the creek.
Oh my, Mary!!! I haven't done any "skinny dipping" since I was a teenager!!! Shhhh! Don't let my mom know!!! I always said what she don't know won't hurt her and I won't get yelled at!!! FOFLOL!!!! I now own 3 bathing suits and another that no longer fits (too big)...perhaps you can borrow one. I always seem to find someone at the pool to join me in either water aerobics or just walking the pool, Gail.
OK Wilma, I'll have a couple extra hats. Saw some really pretty ones the other day. They were off white with red roses...they'll go with anything. I can also have some lemonade in case you prefer that to tea. Is everyone finding their fancy dress and hat ok?
I am going upstairs right now to see if there is any elastic left in my bathing suits that haven't been worn in 15 years or more. Meet you guys at the pool. May have to institute "skinny dipping" hours with our glasses off.
There's a wading pool in the park at Tiny Town, so l imagine there's one for grownups too! We could go for a swim party to cool down, or take our dogs to the park. A creek rans along the dog walk at Springbank Park, London, that fed into the Thames River. My MIL's lrish setter, Rusty , used to pull me right in with her when we babysat her.
We have to have a swimming pool. Linda needs it for her water exercises and I'm sure I'd join her in doing them. I guess it would be in the Tiny Town Park.
Where is the town swimming pool?
Riana and Mary, yes I would join you under the trees or knitting. Also, the lemonade would taste great. Carla enjoy your time away, you can send then hummingbirds my way as hubby has a great job of keeping ours fed. They will approach him now when feeders are empty.
Trying to find a hat for the tea. If not, I hope our host will have a spare. We have been watching Very Scary People. Oh boy, some of these people were chameleons....upstanding citizens by day and evil at night.
I watch from my side of the houses.
Carla, no need to worry, no breakins ever occur in Tiny Town, but l'm sure your neighbours will gladly check to make sure a tree hasn't lost a limb and damaged a window or something.
Hi ladies, I am going to be out of town for a week or so would someone be so kind as to watch over cabin inbtge piney woods while I'm gone? Its back off the beaten path and I'd hate it if someone broke in. I will take up my hummingbird feeders so nobody has to worry about that.
I would be ever so grateful!
Linda Koller, 41 Rose Cottage, Tiny Town. In case you need our RSVP. Wild horses couldn't keep me away!!!
I did go to a tea party once and we all had to wear hats. It was really fun!! One lady came wearing, ( I t hink it is called) a Bobby. The kind of hat the police in early days of London wore, in the days of Sherlock Homes. The tea was the best I have ever had and there was all kinds of sandwiches and cakes and cheese cakes etc... Some of the hats were home made Easter Bonnets others were hats from back in my Grandmothers day. When someone did not have a hat the hostess provided a hat for them. Then we had to go around the room and tell something about our hats. LOL!! Great fun!! I look forward to this tea party.
I watch them and when I watch a second time I don't remember "who done it" So it's like trying to figure it out all over again. After 3/4 of the way through it comes back to me but other times I keep thinking it's the one I thought the first time I watched it. So at my age it's like watch a new movie every time I watch it. LOL!!
