Tiny Town a funtastic place for UFO group members to live.

Tiny Town  is our safe haven when life gets crazy. We are all healthy and happy here, because we know our neighbours and friends living here are quilters too. To buy a small house in Tiny Town, you must perform one random act of kindness , and to buy a larger home ( 2 chimnies), you'll be performing 2 random acts of kindness. All houses have large sewing rooms, and have been built to last.Large homes have storage for more stash, but smaller homes have bigger yards.  Here you can have housemates from your past, alive or otherwise, your present spouce ( only if you wish, lol) as well as pets from past or present. I know you will be responsible pet owers and thoughtfull neighbours, because this is just that kind of place.  Only houses on the back are for sale.

What time does the party start? I'm inviting my friend Teresa who came to the tea party.

Apparently the commercial aspects of Halloween have invaded Norway piggybacking on a older tradition of walking in Autumn evenings and stopping for treats at the neighbors.  They say "Knast eller Knep", which means treats or tricks.

I understand Zoe. I sometimes wake up in the middle of the night and sew or read.

Hi neighbors, I have not been very friendly lately, been cleaning up the yard, and sleeping some in the daytime so that I can concentrate on sewing when it is peaceful at night. So, if you see my light's on in the window, you will understand I am sewing.. or sometimes I get caught up in a Hallmark movie. A new one that will be filming will be in South Carolina on a ship that is on display and does not go anywhere... it will be a Christmas movie!

Awww, now I had a historical costume all picked out! I've often stayed in my pjs when sewing all day...not pretty if someone knocked on the door.

Mary, how about " what to wear when you go to your mailbox?" Lol...my dilema these past 6 mo., as l contemplate staying in my pjs for that walk to our rural box at the end of the driveway, or if l should change. With only 4 houses on the entire road, what are the chances of someone driving by? Well, l have been caught a few times! ROFL.

See that I forgot to post what I wrote yesterday.

Trying again.  Costume Contest Categories: 1.  What to wear when home quilting for the day.

Please suggest other important categories.

Welcome to Tiny Town, Dee and Anna.  Such a fun group.  I need to figure out my costume for Halloween, and some plans for trick or treaters.

Welcome to Tiny Town Dee.

Wow, Mary, l'll bet you never thought you'd get to the last tapestry! It must've always seemed like another was added to the list, lol. I don't think it's necessary to knit prizes...you need to save your fingers for quilting and needlepoint! I'm sure just the " recognition announcement" would make the winner just as proud.

Ok, Dee...# 35 it is.Lots of room for stash and things! When you've done your 2 good deeds, give me the name of your house, and l'll add it to the list. Welcome to Tiny Town :-))

We are down to one tapestry!!! Will post the latest finish after I get it hemmed, lined, and sleeved.  The last tapestry is only using fingering and smaller yarn so I brought home all the larger leftovers.  I will sort and weigh them, and then figure out what to pay for all those partial skeins.  Though I somehow remember I bought a lot of yarn for the project in the first place.  But we need money to work on the book project to describe the tapestries.

For The Halloween party I am thinking of knitting stuff with the bigger yarns, as prizes for costumes and games.
