My plan:

Sandwich Tapestry and French Braid and Wedding Star quilts in Jan. and Feb. while we are still in Arizona.  My daughter has a nice, big table for that!  I will also finish the Jewel Box quilt that I started last week.  I will also be making a custom table runner for my daughter for her birthday in January. Fabrics have been ordered for that.

In April to September I will quilt, bind and finish those four quilts.  I don't have backing for the Jewel Box quilt yet, because I'm not sure how big it's going to be.  It'll be as big as I have fabric for, lol.  I will also finish the Kaleidoscope that I left hanging on the design wall in Ohio.

Although the New Year starts Fri. this week, l'm holding the " listing time" for this challenge open until the end of Jan.2021 to give those in " lockdown" situation a chance to get their fabrics to finish and their batting. Many deliveries are slow as yet.

I am starting the year 2021 with 159 UFOs.  I would really like to make a dent in this huge inventory of UFOs.  I propose to start on January 1 to finish a memory quilt that I started at the end of December 2020 for a dear friend who lives in Manitoba now.  We went to Grades 3 to 6 together in London, Ontario.  She just lost a great grandson.  My 2nd UFO will be a baby girl quilt called "Cat and Elephants".  The blocks are all sewn and I will be starting the finish by sewing the quilt top.  My 3rd UFO will be a 12" blocks Sampler Quilt using the blue polka dot fabric from my son.  You saw the blocks as I made them all last year in blue, red and green.  I will start finishing it by cutting the sashing and cornerstones.  My 4th UFO will be Bordered Squares.  I started the quilt thinking I would make a 1 Patch Quilt with a baggy of 5" squares but I saw a uTube of Jenny Doan making Bordered Squares and I switched.  42 blocks consisting of 3 rows ready to press before I sew the blocks is how I left it recently in 2020.  I am going to press 21 blocks 1 way and the same number the other way so the blocks will all nest next to each other. My 5th UFO is the Crayon Box Quilt that I started Umpteen years ago ( Bonnie Hunter Pattern).  It is put away in a safe place (I'm not sure where today).  It is huge and needs to be sewn in rows and continued on from there.  My 6th UFO is Aqua Terra Quilt another of my UFO oldies.  I used the lovely Aqua Terra connection from CT.  It is sewn in rows and need to be put together as a quilt top.  It is also languishing who knows where but I'll find my last 2 UFOs and rescue them before the end of the year (God willing) and my goal is to finish it.

Here we are on the threshold of a new year. Do we have anyone who'd like to moderate this challenge? It requires time...you must check in regularly, keep members " on track", encourage the disheartened , and offer sound advice.
