Thank you Riana, Barbara and Kris.  I'm working on a quilt now that combines 4 small wildlife panels (deer and wolves with their babies) with a jelly roll.  The jelly roll isn't a real one just 2 1/2" strips that almost amount to the fabric in a jelly roll.  And I picked out colours from the panel.  I've only ever bought 1 real jelly roll in my quilting history.

This morning I did my grocery shopping when the store opened at 7:00 A.M.  Lost my cool with a woman with 2 kids who was breaking every rule in the store.  I shouldn't be allowed to leave the house! LOL

Liz, your baby  oy quilt is so sweet. Love your fabric choice and the quilting's superb. Glad to see you are trying various desgns when quilting.

Gail, l'm certainly glad you don't have to go on a complete 'sew free diet'!

Gail, hope you'll be feeling better soon. I know what you mean about putting off the bigger projects. They'll still be there when you're feeling better.

Liz, I agree with Kris. Nice job on the free motion. Cute Quilt. I'll have to try that on something.

Sorry about all your health stuggles, Gail. Prayers for relief.

Elizabeth - that's really cute!  Love the swirl quilting, too.

Gail - sorry you aren't feeling will, and hope that turns around in a hurry.  Yay for getting small stuff done, tho.

Riana, the Red, White and Blue is not coming along so well.  I'm having a lot of medical problems right now, back and stomach things.  I've been finishing up some smaller UFOs that I can manage without any tusseling them all around.  I'm hoping to get back to those bigger projects before to long, it's been a long haul with this back problem but I'm getting a lot of the small stuff done, so UFOs are coming along pretty good.

I'm hoping to finish free motion quilting my Baby Boy Quilt today!  This will be the first day this week without errands.  And I have 3 projects sitting on my table enticing me onward! (Maybe 4, now that I think about it).

Liz, sounds like a good plan..

Comment by Elizabeth Phillips on September 21, 2020 at 4:14pm

Barbara, you are "good" in my book.  I think the idea is to keep quilting lots - I don't get in trouble when I'm at work in my sewing room! LOL  Waiting for my son and DIL for dinner.  They are bringing it and we are paying for it. Works out for all of us.
