Kathy, would there be a pattern for the center heart  shape/ size parameters ? Because a short wide style would hardly fit up to long & skinny, the center to dip or bottoms could be quite far off...or is that the idea, lol?

P.S. These are not necessarily Red and White hearts, they can be any color heart on any color background.  The fussier the heart and background, the better.

Would any of you like to do a lonely hearts swap?  How this works is a little different from how a normal swap works.  It works like this:  Everyone starts out with (12) 13x13" blocks, and as near as possible, centers a heart of any color or type to the center of the block.  Then you cut the blocks in half (top to bottom)  You send in 6 rights and 6 lefts and you get back 6 rights and 6 lefts.  Those are then sewn to the right and lefts of the other 6 blocks which you kept.  So you will end up with 12 blocks with half your heart and half of the other participants hearts. I hope I explained this clearly enough, but it is a very cool looking swap quilt when completed.  If enough of you are interested then I will start a new swap due by the end of January.  Just let me know.

Sounds good Cheryl. If you comment on the snowman swap page we will see it easier. :)
