FOURTH QUARTER: OCTOBER -DEC.
This challenge will have ZERO swapping in it. It is strictly created to try to get some finishes on our swap blocks! You may join in at any time and you can finish any number of quilts or other projects you wish in each quarter but the hope is to complete at least one each quarter!
Here is how it works:
* sign up quarterly. This will prompt you to have accountability!
*make goals!! Be willing to post your goals each quarter and do your best to follow through!
* choose your blocks for the quarter! It can be blocks we have swapped or even ones you have just had setting around forever!
* be prepared! Whether it is scrappy or perfectly chosen have it ready to go. Choose a setting!
*share ideas to help others move forward! Sometimes the hardest part of this is deciding on a setting. Let's help each other by sharing ideas!
* be prepared to post progress and hopefully pictures if you are able!
* the main goal is to get all the way to a finished quilt!! Binding and all! Or if you prefer you may use the blocks to complete some other project such as table runners, place settings or bed runners.
But even if you are only able to get to the quilt top stage at least it's not a pile of blocks!!
************** HAVE FUN!! *************
This is the main thing! When it stops being fun you stop making progress! Lets keep it fun. You never know I may add prizes in here at some point!
I looked up barrel of monkey clip art and then copied one i liked and traced it onto heat and bond. :)
Oh My Gosh! This is so wonderful!!!!!
Thank you Beth. I thought it turned out cute!
What a cute quilt and such a neat way of using the fabric. Great job.
Thank you Wilma. :)
Happy Mother’s Day, everyone, mother or not!
Well i am late but i hope yours was nice. I mowed the yard for Mothers Day. Lololol. Look out! Ya'll can't compete with my exciting day. Lolol.
On the other hand, how wonderful you feel up to that.
Happy Mother's Day to you also. Mine was spent on a flight home from vacation. I did; however, get texts from the sons for Mother's Day ...
I will have to post a picture of what youngest son/family sent for Mother's Day....it was in the delayed on-hold mail which I received on Monday. Just so cute!
Looking forward to it. I spent a good portion of the day at the long arm. My hubby made a lovely dinner for us. Later we went for soft ice cream. All good things. Also visited on phone with our grandson and his parents. Nice day.
Well, I finally figured out why I stopped getting emails from MQP. Lol. I didn’t they were just going to spam. I have been hitting buttons and trying to get them again and never thought to look in spam. So if I didn’t respond to something, that may be why. I have gobs to read through now ... some I am sure I caught, but a few may be something I want to know.
