This challenge will last all of 2019!!! It will be broken into 4 quarters :

Carla - quilt valentines quilt top and one other swap block  top either pumpkins or Christmas. *Finish the Snowman blocks into a top.

Jean - quilt Under The Sea top.

Mary anne -* snowman blocks into runners.

Connie - finish quiltalong , snowpeople swap.

Wilma  - snowmen and Christmas blocks. **

Chris -

Carri - *

Melanie K. Sgt peppers, tourquoise and choice of  swap block

This challenge will have ZERO swapping in it. It is strictly created to try to get some finishes on our swap blocks!  You may join in at any time and you can finish any number of quilts  or other projects you wish in each quarter but the hope is to complete at least one each quarter!

Here is how it works:

* sign up quarterly. This will prompt you to have accountability!

*make goals!! Be willing to post your goals each quarter and do your best to follow through!

* choose your blocks for the quarter! It can be blocks we have swapped or even ones you have just had setting around forever!

* be prepared!  Whether it is scrappy or perfectly chosen have it ready to go. Choose a setting!

*share ideas to help others move forward! Sometimes the hardest part of this is deciding on a setting. Let's help each other by sharing ideas!

* be prepared to post progress and hopefully pictures if you are able!

* the main goal is to get all the way to a finished quilt!! Binding and all! Or if you prefer you may use the blocks to complete some other project such as table runners, place settings or bed runners.

But even if you are only able to get to the quilt top stage at least it's not a pile of blocks!!

             ************** HAVE FUN!! *************

This is the main thing! When it stops being fun you stop making progress! Lets keep it fun. You never know I may add prizes in here at some point!

I dont really have a theme in my house. I just hang up what i like. I change out a wall regularly from one quilt to the next. Pretty much missed Valentines this year. My quilt i usually hang is now sandwiched and ready to be quilted but too much going on to get it done right now. I should hang one of my row by rows back up. I like looking at those. I may incorporate this panel into something or just make a wall hanging. I have to think on it first.

that was the idea ... something to ponder for a while...

I am looking forward to it. :)

If you have any chicken blocks left, Carla....

Beautiful set of fabrics, Carla! So happy!

What a wonderful gift.  Love the barn and all the sunflowers.  I know you will turn it into something wonderful.

I’ve been doing my Ester Alies hand appliqué project from last year at night.

My days are filled with house projects to get finished for my middle sons wedding in March and before that humidity kicks in. My lanai almost all finished and cantilever for lights over kitchen island gets installed Sunday. As I have two large aluminum beams sitting on my front room floor ready to go up! I’ll send picture when it’s complete! I’m so excited it’s finally getting finished (I am the finisher -plaster sand and paint which will get done next week). Soon to be ready for family Sunday after wedding I have a full prime rib to cook!

Still just as busy as usual i see. Lol.

I sort of was busy with pour paintings last year then the water leak (which was good anyway cause I had planned the island from day one. Now every room has been updated.

Now with the wedding I’ll have family and friends in and out for two weeks so lots of entertaining.  I really needed to find a real creating room only for sewing! Painting and dying will be in garage now! You need to come and stay I do have a spare room! Not quite like Connie’s gorgeous resort with room to spare.

Like Jean said, WOW!  You definitely keep busy.

Well I was laid up from many surgeries that put a lot of projects on hold then hubby got I’ll. I still have some finishing to do but yes I am a doer.
