Inspiring Quilters, Stitch by Stitch
Come join the fun as we prepare Secret Santa packages throughout the year. There will be tutorials for gift ideas. Kathy will have surprise activities, maybe some "impossible missions". There are always lots of discussions so you can try to guess who your Secret Santa might be and to drop hints for gifts to your Secret Santa.

Well ladies, I guess I better add my name to this list before I forget. I would like a 12.5 x 12.5" scrappy string block. Recently, I have really gotten in the scrappy string block mood. I love…Continue

Lee would like crazy blocks. 12.5 x 12.5" Red, Whites, and Blues, of course. I know that Lee likes live theater, so I was thinking maybe blocks that represented a different Broadway play. Even…Continue

I will be looking for it. The purple is great and is another color that I like.
Trudyann - latest update on your other package says it is in Troy, NY now, and will be delivered Monday.
Trudyann - so happy the colors of the towel and potholder will suit the new kitchen! I know purple doesn't usually fall in the spectrum of colors called fall colors, but I was thinking about purple chrysanthemums and hoped the bronze would tie it in to fall colors. I'll keep tracking the other package and let you know when it heads your way.
Kris, The package arrived a little while ago .sorry i did not get this note off sooner but needed to get a couple of things done for supper as our son and family are bring pizza to our house. The potholder and towel are beautiful and perfect colors for my new kitchen, You do beautiful work. The paper is beautiful and will make beautiful cards. I had decided the next time I ordered some stamping stuff I was going to order some new paper. Now I will not have to.The spatula will be so useful. I really get annoyed with the USPS that they just leave things by the door and do not knock or ring the bell. I just happened to look out the window and saw footprints to the porch.I am looking forward to the other package arriving. Thank you so much for the beautiful gifts.
Trudyann - USPS has failed again. Which doesn't surprise any of us. I mailed you two packages at the same time, because two of the things I got you wouldn't fit in the box. The first of those packages is showing as having been delivered to your front porch. The other one is still sitting in Phoenix. I'll keep checking to see when it will arrive for you. So - enjoy your first Secret Santa package, and look forward to the second one!
Kathy - my kids are going to LOVE seeing those shirts. IF I can get Tom to wear his, lol! I'm going to try. You're the best :)
Here is the list we'll be voting on tomorrow! As most of you probably know MQP is shutting us down come April. Riana Noyes is setting us up in Needlespot to try to keep us together. You must become a member in Needlespot.com if you wish to continue on with the UFO group. I will not be having a Secret Santa group this year due to the transition of this move and my personal move.
I mailed the rest of my blocks yesterday. SS sister’s block is in her box. I repackaged them. It went from $4.20 each to $1.08 each. Just changed envelope size. Crazy. They will arrive at various days over the next week. The box is supposed to arrive by Saturday.
Wow! Ginny, you sure hit the jackpot!! Love the grinch ornament with the quilt chimney! Can't wait to see the puzzle finished...looks like fun.
I received a beautiful Ohio star block today from Beth. Kris gave me a lovely Ohio Star block during her visit in November before I moved. I'm sure others will catch up to me soon.
Rhoda and the grandkids weren't able to visit this weekend as Joshua was exposed to Covid. So they are waiting till they can all be tested next week and will be up next weekend as long as they test negative.
I got so many wonderful things from Beth! She was so "Over the Top" generous! The lighted tweezers are my son's favorite thing and I will have to keep an eye out or they may "disappear"! LOL She got me things on my wish list and things I didn't even know I wished for but am very happy to receive. A Christmas story book, a beautiful spiritual journal, a new ruler to experiment with, a pair of Christmas hot mitts, a wool penny rug kit, a ladybug pattern, a seam guide for my machine, a jigsaw puzzle that is a quilter's fantasy lodge and I plan to glue together and hang when I finish it, a bottle of Best Press that I have only seen and never used til now, a nice set of Sunflower quilt note cards, a very cool coffee mug with a handmade cozy for it, cranberry quilt blocks soaps that smell yummy, two pattern books (one I have wanted for years!) fit for lots of scrappy making, a new Jack the Ripper to date as infrequently as possible, an adorable Grinch Christmas ornament! As I said before, I am overwhelmed with gratitude.
