Mailed my SS box, but brought the blocks home to repackage.  Post office wanted $4.20 each instead of $1.78.  Crazy.  So will try and send blocks tomorrow.  What was funny…went to 2 diff POs and they even had different rate from first one.  It is not a parcel.

OMGosh! I am just so flabbergasted and overwhelmed by my SS, Beth, generosity! So many wonderful treasures! I will post pictures very soon!

Yeah, I have my secret pals box delivered today.  You should be receiving your blocks soon, they were mailed yesterday.

 Linda , can you send me the list with everyones mailing address. I have a list but seem to remember that one address is wrong. Want to get my Secret Santa box in the mail and then get my blocks finished and in the mail. Thanks for your help.

Finished my blocks, they will be mailed tomorrow with the SS box.  Beth, you are ambitious…all my fabric is packed so I am going to have to wait to make a quilt.  I am thinking a nice picnic table topper for the May to July period as I have a quilt.  I am marking boxes with contents and yellow tape so I know it is something I need to get out of storage.

Got so excited about the blocks and I ended up making all my connector blocks so when I receive the other pretty blocks, I can put my quilt together quickly.  Who knew I would be so inspired by the combination.  This way I will have a quilt to hang on the wall from May thru July.

Beth, I hope you and Ginny have a wonderful visit!

Hard to believe I've been in California a month already. I'm still living out of boxes. Finally starting to set up my sewing room. Bedroom is more or less done. I think I've finally hired someone to come in and do a deep clean which is why I'm still living out of boxes. Hopefully, by my birthday it will start to look like home.

I am thrilled to say that all my blocks are done.  I believe there are nine that need to be mailed.  I am going to hand deliver Ginny's becasue she is here in town and may be cheaper to drop them by her house than mail them. LOL

If I am good and think, will take pics of each of them before I mail and post here.  It is always a challenge for me because my phone will not let me upload directly to the site.  I have to email them to myself, upload into computer, then I can post them here.  Technology has it challenges.

Happy new year all.  Hopefully we all have a good 2022 with health.  Still working on my blocks in between packing.  Box for SS is also pretty much full.

Oh, almost forgot - I know some people are not happy with FB, but you can set up a page/group and make it private.  I do our church's FB and we have a closed group where we post messages for the members only.  People can post once they are approved/added to the group. 

Just something to think about.
