Come join the fun as we prepare Secret Santa packages throughout the year. There will be tutorials for gift ideas. Kathy will have surprise activities, maybe some "impossible missions". There are always lots of discussions so you can try to guess who your Secret Santa might be and to drop hints for gifts to your Secret Santa.

Well ladies, I guess I better add my name to this list before I forget. I would like a 12.5 x 12.5" scrappy string block. Recently, I have really gotten in the scrappy string block mood. I love…Continue

Lee would like crazy blocks. 12.5 x 12.5" Red, Whites, and Blues, of course. I know that Lee likes live theater, so I was thinking maybe blocks that represented a different Broadway play. Even…Continue

Received two blocks yesterday. Thanks Colleen and Ginny. Very nice.
Worked on the log cabin blocks…having a heck of a time getting 12-1/2”…finally the 3rd one worked. So just 4 more left. I want to mail them next week…know I am late, but I haven’t forgotten. Plus a challenge as a lot of fabric is packed.
Colleen, I received your beautiful SS Christmas card block today. Thank you so much! I am glad you enjoyed making it.
You guys are ambitious. We made it to CA. Usual drive takes 4 hours, today’s 6-1/2 hours due to rain, fog and traffic. CA has a lot of traffic and crazy drivers.
Ginny, we don’t physically move til the 20th of January, so am sure it will get here. I just hope to finish up rest of my blocks on return and get everything in the mail. Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday. Me, just hope the rain/snow they are predicting for the 27th doesn’t come to fruition or we won’t get home…
I mailed all of my SS Christmas card blocks today. I am hoping that Linda and Wilma's will get to them.
I
I will be going to the post office in about 2 hours- sending out 7 of my Christmas card blocks ( I still need to make 2 - but found I was better prepared than I thought) and my SS package. I have to work all weekend and figured if I didn’t get it out I would wind up late so- it will be on its way.
whew- what a whirlwind lately
I received another block today from from Kathy. Very pretty thanks. I have all my star blocks ready to mail. Need to do the log cabins. We leave early tomorrow for CA. Will finish up the rest when we’ve returned on the 27th. Will get them off in the mail later than week. Have to as the sewing room will be packed up by the first week in January. Will be glad when this is over. Wishing everyone a wonderful holiday. Stay safe and healthy.
Because everyone has had such a crazy year and some have travel plans, if you need to send your Secret Santa package out before January 4 go ahead. Recipients please share when you receive your gifts!!!
I’ve received blocks from Kris, Linda and Kathy, all 3 are beautiful. I am planning to get the ones I’ve finished out tomorrow, I think I still need to make a couple.
i have tomorrow off then work Friday, Saturday, Sunday so …this is it.
i agree it’s been an up and down discombobulated year for most everyone. I am grateful for being able to get fixed what we needed to, our problems were so minor compared to so many they past few weeks. We are going to need a new roof in the spring ( joy of home ownership) anyway- looking forward to the new year
I received another beautiful Christmas card block in the mail from Kathy. Thank you so much. I am enjoying putting them up on my design wall in pattern and seeing it develop.
Colleen, I am hoping you begin to have a little peace in your world soon. I think many of us are experiencing a bit of discombobulation this year from one thing or another!
Colleen, hope your 2021 ends on a better note and 2022 is a better year for you.
I moved to Sanger, CA during the cold and rainy season. I'm told by February it starts to warm up. I'm praying so as I don't handle this cold dampness well. However, it's wonderful having my DIL and grandkids every other weekend and my DIL's mom on opposite weekends. A little slower to settle in since I'm in pain from the weather, but that's ok.
