Well ladies, I guess I better add my name to this list before I forget.  I would like a 12.5 x 12.5" scrappy string block.  Recently, I have really gotten in the scrappy string block mood.  I love…Continue

Colleen would like the same pattern used as Kris, but with a slight twist.  She would like the center blue, the short side white and the long side red.Continue

Christmas Card - September - Lee - Crazy block

Started by Kathy Gurgone. Last reply by Beth A. North Jan 3. 2 Replies

Lee would like crazy blocks.  12.5 x 12.5"  Red, Whites, and Blues, of course.  I know that Lee likes live theater, so I was thinking maybe blocks that represented a different Broadway play.  Even…Continue

I can relate to a small kitchen, Linda. I have very little actual wall space for anything. I have a plan to also do a little renovating, but it is down the road a bit.

OK sisters! Let's see those kitchens!!

You can see mine on page 6. My sunflower potholders are starting to see better days and no fall leaf potholders....hint, hint. I have lots of towels and too many mugs. I don't have room in this kitchen for anymore decorative items. I downsized a lot when I moved to Arizona. I also have a much smaller kitchen here.

I had to look back to page 6 to find it, but I thought I remembered we were supposed to do something describing our kitchens. My theme is Mixed Fruit and Rainbows, but mostly Mixed Fruit. The rainbows are mostly only my coffee mugs.  Here is a pic of one of the few free walls in my kitchen.

Oh, Wilma! Ouch! Take care! I don't suppose you are left handed, are you?

Very Pretty tablerunner, Linda! Your SS will love the versatility of it being pretty much reversible.

Yes, tell us about the book, Beth!

Should read what I write before I send it - should say life not live.

Got my SS info and am anxious to get started making some things. Hubby and i have had both of our shots and it is nice being able to be with friends and family. Our weather has been nice - daffodils and hyacinths are blooming. Live is seeming a little more normal.

Hope your finger heals quickly, Wilma.

I made a braided table runner on a recent virtual weekend retreat for my Secret Santa sister. Hope she likes it. First pic is back, second pic is front.

Received my SS information...today and most of the rest of the weekend is reading, planning.  Had a cyst/bone spur removed on right index finger.  Finger bandage and obviously out of commission for a few days until big bandage comes off.  Doc is hoping the finger nail will eventually grow back to normal.  Can’t even knit or crochet.  Might try a loom just to keep busy...can just see me trying to thread a needle...LOL

Looking forward to making some fun things for my SS.
