I am guilty, I have not done anything yet.  I will get on this.

I fixed the typo on Trudyann's Christmas card block entry.

I've noticed that everyone is letting Kathy know what your favorite block is. That is great....however, you must get your signed rules and questionnaire turned in to Linda to remain in the Secret Santa group. There are several that haven't turned them in yet. Please email to me before March 31. February is already half over!! Thank you.

The weather hasn't been as bad as the rest of the country. But here in Tucson,  Arizona, anything under 70 is cold! We get a lot of wind here at 3500 ft. elevation. I'm located 12 miles outside the city in the Saguaro National Forest and Tucson Mountains.  We are actually in the low 60s this week, but they are predicting that by the weekend we'll be back up to the high 70s. It's hard, but somebody has to do it!!! LOL

Meanwhile, I'm done with physical therapy and back in the sewing room! YAY! I almost have my Thimbleberries pansy quilt top done...forgot to order the fabric for the last border before I had my back surgery. Found 2 fabrics that might work and waiting for them to come in. While I'm waiting, I've had several orders for dog coats, harnesses, leashes, collars, and rope toys....keeping busy! Have also managed to get out 25 kennel quilts to my favorite shelter back home in Cleveland. Our Project Linus quilt group is downsizing and just donated 4 baskets of fabric to my kennel quilt project!!!

Everyone stay healthy and safe this year!

OK ladies, don't be shy.  We need to know what your favorite block is for the Christmas card block exchange.  I am sure that some of you have already started on your sisters blocks.  With the way the weather is right now, I don't blame you.  We haven't been hit as hard as many of you, but it is still miserable outside.

I have been spending the past few weeks getting our new travel trailer outfitted for the road.  My husband keeps insisting that he needs to load more tools, "just in case", and I keep telling him that I need more space for my sewing supplies.  Silly man, doesn't he know " happy wife, happy life".

We just found out that several celebrities have places that they offer RVer's a place to park for the night on their property on Harvest Hosts.  Of course, there is no guarantee that they will actually be there, when you are, but I think it would be a really cool chance to maybe meet one of them.  My husband has already picked out one that he wants to try and so have I.  I'll post pictures if I luck up.

March is right around the corner, and I am so excited to find out who my Secret Santa sister is.  And we will be starting the kitchen scavenger hunts.  I hope this will be a much better year than last year, because we all deserve it.  LOL

Last year one person did, but not so far this year, Melanie.

Linda - did anyone ask for a crazy quilt block?  That would be a good place to use up  scraps.

I'm quickly using up my red, white, and blue scraps for these blocks! I'm going to have to start cutting into yardage soon....or piece scraps.

Ok - forgive me if I post this twice - I clicked on it to edit and it disappeared!

Kathy - yes, I knew it was an example.  But I'm always curious, always learning - usually because I'm forgetful and find "new" stuff all the time!

My favorite block is the log cabin and I would like red centers - no preference about the blue and white.  Here are 2 that I received for Christmas in 2020:

Melanie, you know that I was just using the Shoo Fly block as an example, right?  Each sister is to select their favorite block to receive as their Christmas card from everyone else.  Please provide a link or example of the block you would like.  Thanks.
