Linda, it is baby steps. But it sounds as if you are making leaps and bounds progress. I would love to be able to ride a bike again. I’ve thought about a Trike too. It will be good to get a new service dog- when the time comes the funds will become available- I’m confident.
I am a little nervous but work is ( on board) with allowing me the breaks I will need and putting up with my ( baby steps) so, it’s nervous excitement.
I know someone things will probably stay with me forever ( the throbbing impact site headaches) but I have become much better at realizing I’m reaching that point and stopping before I hit the wall. And I’m ( bouncing back) much sooner now - an hour instead of 2 or 3 days.
I keep you in my thoughts - confident you will continue taking those baby steps forward.

Colleen, it's been a long road for you. So happy to hear that you are well enough to return to work if only part-time. Please be safe!

I have a long road too. Even more difficult without my Indy. His new mom sends me photos to assure me he is happy and well loved in his retirement. My physical therapists tell me that when they are done with me I will be walking without my walker...for the first time in 12 years!!! They also think I'll be able to ride a bike again! I'm thinking of a trike with a basket on the back. My doctors tell me next year I'll be able to get another dog after I have my cataract surgeries. I will need to find some funding for service dog training...for my hearing, peripheral vision, PTSD. Making steps.

Colleen, - so glad you are able to go back to work!  Take it easy and stay safe!

Wilma, Linda, Mary and all - I'm working on blocks, but still way behind the curve.  Hoping to catch up during our upcoming trip.

I am behind a bit too- but trudging along. I am being sent back to work on Monday- only 3 days a week- 4 hour shifts. It’s been 10 months. A little nervous but excited too.
ive made a few projects and ordered a few things for my S S box, the box will be stuffed as usual.
I had some help cleaning/ organizing my sewing room and now am finding it much easier to be productive.

I'm right there with you Wilma!! I did make one of the blocks and picked out fabrics and patterns for the other blocks. I have been purchasing items online for my Secret Santa sister. She will have a full box.

I really need to catch up on my secret Santa items.  I haven’t done any of the challenges...oh wait, I did save an empty spool for the one ornament and I wrote down everyone’s colors for the blocks.  Now to start working on stuff.

Colleen, you are not alone my friend. Since my surgery I've not been able to do any sewing and I'm not on the computer much. For 3 months all I could do was sit and read and watch tv. Now all I do is PT and I'm exhausted. I hope next year will be a better year.
