I made a ( muslin) inner liner first, holding the rice then a flannel outside for the soft. I microwave them for 1 minute- they are wonderful- hold the heat for 20-30 minutes.

Glad you are home Linda.

Aren't rice bags wonderful Colleen?  I like to quilt mine with 100% cotton so it can go in the microwave to add softer heat to the area.  Works pretty good.

I just got home today, Colleen. Will try to get the ornament a month up and running soon. The next few days will be with home health care and the physical and occupational therapists. In between I'll get my photos together and look up the instructions.

I would love to do an ornament a month project!
I didn’t manage to get my blocks done like I planned- I had a couple long phone calls, one from a doctor I saw a month ago and another from my nurse case magpnager- by the time I was off the phone I went in and made a ( neck) rice bag- heated it up to test it, put it around my neck & made a second one— that was it for sewing today. Tomorrow is another day.

Kathy, you will have to.private message those who have not turned in their questionnaires yet. Since their memberships are not yet approved,  they probably cannot read group comments yet.

To everyone who is joining us this year, please get your questionnaire in to me as soon as possible.  I have not handled this part of the program yet, and I want to get it done correctly, so that Linda doesn't have to worry about it.  Thanks.
