I packed by boxes for my SS, but I keep thinking about the one item I wanted to make but was not wanting to have three boxes ( bulky items, really) So, my intentions are to open the boxes back up, find the item and make it.. I also found one more thing to add to the box.... will I be ready to ship Tuesday???  I will try.

Next Tuesday, Dec. 10 is shipping day! As Momma Duck says, "Are all your ducks in a row?" LOL (Hopefully last time I have to say Ouch!)

Speaking of infected tooth...I get the stitches out of my mouth tomorrow and find out the options of getting the teeth replaced. Hopefully, I'll no longer yell ouch every time I laugh. Found out today I'll be having cataract surgery next year. First one scheduled in March. I know you all say it's no big deal. Well, I'm allergic to local anesthesia so I have to be put to sleep.

Kathy, when it rains, it pours, sigh. A bad ear infection is right up there with childbirth and an infected tooth....l've experienced them all. Follow Zoe's advice, and get it seen to asap.

Oh dear Kathy.  Sorry to hear about your ear problem.  Hope you can get some help soon.  Take care, thoughts/prayers coming your way.

Oh, no Kathy! I am so very sorry.

Try call 211 tomorrow and ask for a ENT that can help you. I used to help find resources for low income friends and others like yourself who cannot afford the high cost of insurance. I went to collage and studied connecting people with resources and wrote all of my papers on our failing healthcare. The 211 number connects to United Way, it is such a great system they developed to get the word out. If you need more help, please pm me,. but I think this will get you started and it will be helpful for other issues your family and you are going though.

So sorry about your ear drum, Kathy. Not an easy time for you at all. Praying for you and family.

My year keeps getting better and better <sarcasm>  So, I have had a cold for about a week, and on Thanksgiving evening, my ear started throbbing.  By midnight it was really painful.  Went to take a shower before going to bed and my eardrum ruptured. Don't have insurance at the moment, because who can afford $1400 per month with a 25,000 deductible?  Went to Urgent Clinic, and they said I will need to see an ENT doctor to repair. Total hearing loss in my left ear.  Can I please catch a break.  Sorry to unload this on you all, but I needed to let it out somewhere.  But hey, I got to spend the day with my granddaughter, so it wasn't a total disaster.
