I love all rescues. They love unconditionally and they know they are loved back.

Guess I better post my fur babies.  We have 3 right now

Yogi is my special helper- he loves to see what Iam working on - quilts, crochet, painting.  He has no preferences, except he doesn't like the paint smells when I am cleaning brushes.  We got him at camp and he is a Maine coon.  My dd named him Yogi because he has the extra digit and big paws like any good catcher

Nyx is our black lab/cattle dog mix.  She is one big wiggly bundle of love, joy and energy.  And she can destroy even the tuff stuff toys in minutes.

Zeus is our other lab/cattle dog mix.  He is more lab than Nyx - easy going, kind of a clown, loves to play and sleep.

Both dogs were rescues from a shelter that had been transported north to find homes.

I had a 12 year old gold fish named Fiddy, but he left us a couple years ago.  He was from one of the county fairs - you know, throw a penny in the bowl and win a prize.  My grandson and I both won goldfish - mine lived longest.

Ladies, my bad.  Not all of you may have fur-babies, some of you may have other types of pets.  Birds, fish, mini pigs, etc.  Please include pictures of any sort of pet that you may have. Spouses are

I know that many of you are wondering what the second envelope that I sent you is for, but you will have to wait until July 1st to find out what your next impossible mission will entail.  It will actually involve more than one of the other Secret Santa sisters in our group.

I love the stories and the fur babies. My fur babies are all stuffed. I have Ralph a Monkey, Arfy a puppy, Coffee, a lion and cream a lamb. The Sunday School kids named the lion and lamb.Arfy was a valentine gift and Ralph has been around since the kids were little. Then there are some rabbits around here but they don't have names. I guess you could call us the funny farm. LOL!! Our real pets are gone now.

Kathy, the pictures are fantastic.  We have been to Bergen but none of the other places.  What a beautiful trip you had.

Love the pictures of all the fur babies.  Mine was 19 when he left us.  Grandson #4 picked him out at the rescue because he kept poking at him with his paws.  Grandson was 2-1/2 at the time (18 this Sept).  He called him Oreo and the name stuck.  He was the best cat...loved to snuggle under quilts as I bound them or push knitting out of my arms so he could rest his head in my arm and have a belly rub.

Linda, I read your comments in other post - so sorry you are going through this, as well as your fur baby.  We always take our health for granted. Gracious Lord, be with Linda and Indy and their family.  I pray that she can see the dr soon and start a treatment plan.  Give her strength for the journey and loving support.  Amen.
