Not alzheimers or dementia, Mary.  Please rest easy everyone. Thank you for your concern. Not cancer either.

I get so many health books donated to the does make getting older very scary.  On my bedside table is a book on Cranio-sacral massage to help with alzheimers, and another on how to make each day a good one for those with dementia and the like.  Four dear people I know are in various stages.  The advice in the "good day" book would work for all of us everyday.

Linda, I will hope for the best. you said it is not celiac, that is good. I developed that over 5 years ago when I was eating a lot of wheat to lose weight on my diet.  I got really small, then got really ill. I am big again. My body healed up, but took awhile. I will hope for the best for you.

Not saying until I see the specialist in August and I know more about it. I just know it will mean another major change in's not celiac disease. But it isn't good.

Linda, did I miss something, what is the new diagnosis?  You know, I do not mind getting older I just don't like all the other things that come with it.

Zoe, your furbabies and mom are the most important thing right now. I know how you feel. I miss my old life before the accident. I'm looking at even more changes due to a new diagnosis I received this week.

Linda, no I did not get anything, but this explains my question. It is okay, yes my life is way too busy right now. I do try to vote when I understand how to vote... I guess i am a lost cause here. But my SS is going to be well taken care of.

I feel for you with Indy, my dog goes in for surgery Tuesday, then will have to be in her crate for two weeks without being out other than food, water and bathroom.. then  a little more each week , for 2-4 months. My mom's dog got ill last week, got him to the vet, this might be from fleas so gave him a new medication along with other medications to help him.  Have family coming in July... still got to get one quilt done so it will be there for them still have work being done here too... I miss my old life where I was so bored I had to make up things to do.

Riana, great explanation to Zoe. Thank you!

Indy is doing well on his new meds, but still having bouts of not eating/drinking. We see an internist on Tuesday. They feel his pancreas is not producing enough enzymes or he's allergic to the vegetables here because processing may be different than back in Ohio. At this point not really sure what's going on. But seizures are under control and he's acting normal other than the eating/drinking problem.
