Zoe, the missions are for us all to participate and have fun with. The idea is for us to get to know each other better as we work thru our tasks doing the missions thru commemts while doing them. We normally use our own rescources, but this month, Kathy's away... so the new ones for June and July had an envelope mailed out. She did ask us all ( on here) if we'd received them. You must've missed the posting! But if you have golf tees,(3) you can participate. Just check out the mission for June. These missions are less about completing & putting into box and more about comradery here amongst us. In the joinup rules, we agreed to at least participate in the voting. Votes are sent to Kathy thru inbox message after each mission times out.  Zoe, we all have months where life gets a bit crazy...just try to join in whenever you can, please don't feel left out.

Zoe, Kathy sent everyone envelopes. Did you get yours?

I still don't understand these missions.  When I looked at May, it said about envelopes.. I guess you join up and get something to make?? I am sorry, I am slow on this. My SS... I have you covered very well already, you just might not get these extras.

Since Kathy is out of the country, she wanted me to remind everyone to get your votes in by June 1 please.

Riana, what part of Florida do you go to?  I am in Pensacola

Comment by Riana Noyes on May 19, 2019 at 9:08pm

Colleen, thankyou for that reassurance. Lady Lake can get into the 90's plus humid in Nov. & Dec. So far, only late Jan. early Feb. get cold enough for jackets in past 4 yr.

Zoe, cruise. We are Canadian " snowbirds"... in Fla. from late Oct. thru 'til April. So the candies will be purchased fresh just before mailing.

Since it is November/ December when we actually package our gifts I don’t think the candy suffers any . I’ve received packages from Florida at Christmas time that have included all kinds of chocolates- none have ever been melted, or appeared to be softened at all. I don’t think it’s anything to worry about.
