Riana, can you find your friends on fb? I know it is not the same, I found past friends and we had moved on. Life changes.  I think about moving one day to Washington state, feel  in love with Victoria BC, and I would love to be closer to travel there. Might be dumb reason.

We once sold our lovely country home near friends & family and moved 3 hours north when my hubby decided he just couldn't stand being chained to a desk any longer. The house was on the commercial property & had a propane yard next door, the business driveway right next to house, and the boat storage buildings in the backyard! I made pretty drapes w/ sheers to obscured the " view", slipcovered the sofa, and put in a small garden of pretty flowers on the side away from driveway, my oasis of calm in a noisy area. After a couple of years, l found new friends in spite of being " on call" at all hours due to location, and had managed to make it " home". I really missed my friends, though. Wish we'd had skype and fb back then!

Barbara, Your poem is comforting as Paul an I begin to consider when an where we should go when we (him really) can't take care of our beloved 5 acres of beautiful flammable forest.

Zoe, I remember how difficult a decision it was for you to move from your home in Texas to Florida. I know you miss your home and your friends there. I pray some day you will look back on this time with your mom and not regret your decision. Don't forget to take time for yourself and your health. Thank you for all the phone calls a couple years ago when Indy was so sick. I'm here if you ever need someone to talk to.

I have posted next month's impossible mission a little early as I will not be here on the first of the month.  I hope you have fun with this project,

This is the easy one, next month will be a little different, but hopefully, you will enjoy it as well.

Zoe, We've had to move quite a few times. At least 10 times since we've been married (Due to my husband occupation) and now landed where we started from. The house we are in needs lots of work. I think it is the oldest house on the block. It really needs to be gutted. It is not my own house. I read a poem by Madam Guyon that sticks with me. "While place I seek or place I shun the soul find happiness in none. But with our God to guide our way tis equal joy to go or stay." This is contentment for me. Thou the house is not up to par I can still make it home while we are here.

Linda I am glad you are finding more on Indy. I take Zoe, my 9 1/2 yr old Aussie/ BC to the vet on Monday to be sedated and get a x-ray to see what the vet will do for her leg. She is running on three legs right now and happy. I hate to have the surgery as she will have to be in the crate for 2 weeks, and more and then I will take her out more and more on short walks and he said that in two months or so she can go back up the stairs where I sleep.

Getting my bathroom vanity in order. When I moved in with my mom to help her out, the home felt like a dungon, very dark and dated. So, we have been painting the trim white and the walls a light cream, have added more light and one bathroom down stairs and mine we decided to paint the vanities white- I had a very hard time deciding to do this- but, wow !! They looks great !!! I will post pictures once the hardware arrives and is installed, think I must have ordered them from  Mars as they are taking a long time to arrive... but it is fine.

I keep reading the notes on here, just busy. Family is coming in July and trying to get things raped up on the inside work for now and then clean up the home to make it look like " this is how we live"... but it is a lot of work.

This will be my second or third summer here, really miss my old area.. not the crime, but the lake and the gym. I am still trying to find my peace here.

My mom is doing well, I take her to Lowes and Home Depot to walk with her rollaider- this is so important for her to keep moving and keep up her strength, I don't know how I will handle things when she is not able.  But for now, I will just keep doing what I am doing. My own health is not great as I can't do what I used to and have to put the home and her first.. I keep trying, just don't know how to anymore. Any and all suggestions are welcomed.

Working on one more quilt to send to Beth, this one is for my nephews gal, I feel sure they will marry one day.

Okay, this is long. I just wanted to chime in.

Oh so happy to hear Indy is on the mend.  Our fur babies are our family, I hope he continues to mend and returning to normal activities … taking care of you.  Rest and enjoy.
