There's enough reds for a small quilt. lf l don't have enough of one color " family", l keep a set of 'brites' and a set of 'adult colors''s great to have on hand for binding the scrappy charity quilts l top stitch for the group here.

A lot of scraps have been stuffed into baggies, & stips trimmed off backings after squaring. l really need to deal with these soon...or l may get a population explosion while they multiply in cupboard while l'm away in summer! So l've decided to take action! Those strips are being recut to 2.5" when possible & used for "premade" scrappy bindings. The brights are being used in a boy's rocket quilt. l'll need to get busy with more...l only have 6 weeks left before we head home.

have three scrappy doll quilt tops finished more to do but first want to make one more scrappy messenger bag. i'm having probably waaay too much fun playing in my bins of fun fabric scraps & scraps of lace & ruffled edging making small messenger style totes for my grand treasures. they both knit & crochet & the bags are small to accomadate thier little projects. oldest one made the cutest looped berét for her american girl doll during my last visit & the youngest finished the body for a stuffed bear & started legs before i left. no patterns ...they design as they go!
