Good morning Suzanne. Hope you get a lot of interest in this forum. I've been involved with a local QOV group for a couple of years. If you check out the QOV website, you'll find lots of info on what they are all about. Our little group has an ambitous leader who keeps us updated on that. You can be involved at many different levels. There are limitations on sizes of quilts. The first one I was going to donate was too big so it hags on my railing, now. There are pattern available at no cost or you can do your own. It's not restricted to patriotic colors but those seem to go faster at distribution time, it's said. So your log cabin in the icon would be perfect. Take care and have a great day.

I started this group because I would like to know a whole lot more about QOV. How does one get involved? What type(s) of quilts are they looking for? Etc....
