Inspiring Quilters, Stitch by Stitch
I joined Quilts of Valor about 6 months ago, so on Sunday I went to my first quilt pass out. We pass ours out at a local fighter wing so I got to see all the men (and a couple women) recieve their quilts (we gave about 40+ quilts). When they got them they were so thankful, that is just warmed my heart. I can't wait to go back and pass out more.
Have you had any experiences in Quilts of Valor that made you glad to take part in such a worthy cause? Any that stick out in your mind?

Wonderful story, Mariah. Thanks for sharing it with us. Do you have photos you can share?
I have not had the honor of participating in any QOV events yet as I am still in the process of piecing my first top for QOV.
Both my grandfathers, my dad, my oldest son served, my brother-in-law is still serving and now my youngest is in the Corp at Texas A&M and will be joining the Marines upon graduation.
Participating in QOV is the least I can do to honor their service.
I don't have any pictures yet, but I will try to post them when I get some.
