Andrea,on the top of this comment box you'll see LINK,click on the one next to that,that will take you to where it says browse,that will take you to your pictures,click on the picture you want uploaded,after the little circle stops moving click OK. Then click ADD COMMENT!

welcome andrea to quilting & to My Quilt Place. to post a photo to your album page click "Add" link on any page of site & follow the prompts. to post to a discussion like this one, you'll have to load a pic to your album then cut & paste to comment box here. on some discussion pages there is a upload link below lower left side of comment box. but many are like this page & have no upload link available.

Andrea, welcome to quilting, and our group:) There are so many types of quilts and methods to achieve various styles that it can be overwhelming. Quilters on this site are very generous with tips ( and opinions) . Just ask whatever you like. You can learn a lot , too, by reading different posts in various groups on here...you don't need to be a member of a group to read, just if you wish to " comment". Many of the links people offer on here can lead to tutorials on line that often show what words can't teach.

Hi Andrea,there is no such thing as a dumb question.You will find mostly all the quilters on this forum are very eager to help you.Do you have pictures of what you've done so far? Not judging,just wanting to see your work.

ANDREA, while we can't replace your grandma, there ARE lots and lots of grandma's on this sight. and  we would everyone be happy to answer any questions you would have especially if it means you will continue your grandmothers art. ;) welcome to the world of quilting.

Hi everyone, I will start off by saying that i'm totally new to quilting. It started as a promise I made to my grandma that I would give it a try and a month later i'm hooked on it. I started about a month ago working on a sampler quilt and am currently on my 4th block. My grandma has passed away since I started so I lost the person I could ask questions to so hoping everyone is ok if I ask a dumb one occasionally :)
