I have made four memory quilts and each one was done differently and with each one I learned a few things, mostly what not to do on the next one. Two were pieced and two were appliqued but all were done from outgrown childrens clothing. The last two were done for the same friend and turned out to both measure 6' X 9'. Will be glad to share anything that I have learned from the process.

I am planning one in memory of my brother. I am planning to use his colorful, tropical print shirts along with themed fabrics depicting the things he loved. I'm also planning to incorporate signed blocks from his friends and family. This will be a gift for my mother. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks, Debbie
