Hello - I'm an intermediate quilter - machine piecer, learning hand quilting and applique, and would LOVE the freedom to machine quilt my own quilts!!!! I love the beautiful work my longarm friends do, but it would be nice (and convenient, and economical) to be able to machine quilt some of the smaller quilts myself! Looking forward to learning on this forum!

Yes, practice makes perfect.  All else fails!  Too bad I didn't follow this myself!

Hi, I am a newbie to the group and look forward to learning.  I recently took a class on the Pam Clarke technique of quilting and loved it and want to learn other ways to deisgn my quilting for each quilt.

It's a rainy morning here in the suburbs of Chicago and I am at work, wishing I was home creating a cozy quilt... I'm really happy for this group and hope to learn a lot from all of you!

Good morning, I just joined the group.  I look forward to learning and being inspired as I visit the site as part of my morning ritual. It is going to be a warm sunny day in the foothills of California.

Hello from Reading PA on this wonderful March 3rd, sunny and chilly. I am so glad to join this group!  I quilt on my Pfaff 1475 and I just got a Janome 1600.  Both are fantastic machines, I have been machine quilting for 17 years and have a machine quilting business for custom machine quilting for other artists. I teach, lecture and do commission quilts. Looking forward to the AQS Lancaster Show in two weeks!!  Have a great day.  Teresa
