SewCal, I've used Bernina's Designer Plus Software since version 4 and just updated to Version 7 which I love. I can digitize anything I want with this awesome software. I can convert to all machine formats if I need to, but since I own a Bernina 830, I use the .exp and .art formats. You don't have to own a Bernina to use this software.

SewCal you were asking about digitize software? I use Master works for my babylock Ellisimo.  But I also have EQ7 and they have a modular call eqstitch which the embroidery part.  Unfortunately some a very expensive.  But if you are really interested in looking at some cheaper ones Buzz Tool has some good software.  I also run a club here where I live with is call MEQ which is Machine Embroidery Quilting club.  Hope what I said will help you with some software.

Sewcal, you mean a person can load a program on a computor that takes an image and "translates " it to the embroidery machine's "language"? How cool is that!

Curious - who is this group has machine embroidery software to digitize?  If so, what digitizing software do you use?
