Last winter I participated the the AQS block a day Christmas quilt.  It was such fun, really motivating, but I did not realize until I started how many pieces the patterns called for in a 4 inch block.  I was essentially learning miniature quilting techniques, by necessity, as I went along.  I learned a ton, and got the top pieced, soon after Christmas.  It is not, however, quilted yet.  I suppose this will be my Christmas project this year.  I don't seem to be able to post a picture, not sure why.  I will work on it and hope to post a picture of my quilt top.

Thanks, Norma.  It's Topiary Tiles.  The pattern suggested florals for the squares and alternated the setting of the blocks so the bands through the blocks didn't line up. It was fairly easy, especially with precuts.

Connie, what is the name of the pattern for this?  It looks relatively simple and yet beautiful!
