I want to use a 100% cotton batting for my quilt. Some are sold with scrim to hold them together and reduce shrinking. Can I hand quilt thru that? Thx!Continue

There are videos on line showing us how to use "Aunt Becky".
The last quilt I hand quilted, I used "Aunt Becky" underneath so not to jab the needle into my finger and it helps regulate the stitches. Give it a try.
That should read " silicone", lol. Leather ones are available, but costly. Get used to a regular thimble before investing.
