I looked at Nancy's Notions and she doesn't have it.  I'm not sure the dealers are carrying it yet.  Check before you go looking for it.  Nancy B from MI

Betsy Cannan, Thanks for your kind words, I appreciate it very much.  I will be looking for this ruler on my next trip to Santa Fe.

I went to the slidelock site today and thought the ruler looked great, so I am glad to hear the comments.
To BA Wayrick-Walker: I am very sorry to hear of your losses.

the rogue quilter 12/29/12 5:18pm Thanks so much for your kind words, it truly was a year I don't ever wish to repeat; but we must go on & can't dwell on the sad things that happen; so I have already decided on all the gifts for Xmas 2013 and as soon as I can get to Santa Fe to shop for Christmas fabric (on sale) I will start my sewing & not bring on any stress for the holidays.  Again thanks for the reply.

Marcia - I did go to the website and was truly impressed with that new ruler.  I sent the link to my local quilt shop to see if they knew about it and if they were selling it.  It looks just wonderful and I'm glad you posted the info.

When you want to share info, it's really helpful if you will post it to this site, not just as a private message.  That way others can also see the posting and look it up.

Thanks for posting now.  By the way, the website for this ruler is http://quiltersslidelock.com  Check it out - it's truly a wonderful ruler.  Nancy

I'm sorry I wrote the post about the quilt ruler the wrong way.  I haven't done much writing on the site, so am a novice as to how to write something.  Nancy - the web site for this ruler is quiltersslidelock.com.  I am really not kidding - I cut 4 31/2 inch strips, and then cut 48 31/2 inch blocks and never had to square up the fabric again.  I bought the lighted ruler, but don't think I would again if I decide to purchase the smaller one.  Marcia

i loved the post about the new quilting ruler -but I don't see it on here.  Why?  It looks like a wonderful and usable ruler.  And worth purchasing.

12/29/12 PM:  Update:  I just read all the comments to my initial writing & so much has happened in our lives, but that is what life hands us: I lost my son of 55 to a motorcycle accident on July 4th, Tom & I were married on 10/11/12 then my daughter-in-law, Lisa (who has been a second daughter to me) lost her mom on 11/4/12; Tom & I are really looking forward to a new & better year.

I will post some new photos of my sewing/all purpose 'shed' shortly,  it is wonderful having this space, but alas it is too small but I am trying to make it work; I just have to many items for my crafting & various interests.  The ceiling & wall colors worked very well & my lighting is good too.   I must apologize to all for not writing sooner, but the time has just passed way to quickly.  I have been sewing most all my Xmas gifts & still have one set more to go; ran out of time.  Now my machines (2) of them both need to be serviced, the tension on one is just not working correctly & one cannot sew with that kind of a problem.
