I thought it might be nice if we shared our links on this discussion page so that when and if we want to go back and look at one we don't have to click through a million pages to find it. so if you want to share a link this would be a good place to do it.:)

Great idea Carla!

I found a great site that has modern quilts http://www.ohfransson.com/oh_fransson/modern-patchwork/

I found another modern quilt site just type in www.modernquiltguild.com they have tutorials and all kinds of different stuff there is also branches all over the country look near your area. The one closest to me is about on 1 1/2 hrs away but the gals and I are thinking of starting a new guild, so I might convince them to start up a modern quilt guild.

I also am into the Sashiko quilting techniques so I'm not sure if any of you are but here is a good site I found but if you google it you can find a ton. http://www.purlbee.com/sashiko-tutorial/

I have a piece that I am going to do in this method, its on my small hand quilt frame now.

lots of free patterns here, but you have to sign up. :) many use 2 1/2 inch strips. ''pretty in pink'' is one of them.
