This is my finished sampler quilt.Enjoyed doing it. I always wash my quilts and love the crinkly look it gets.

I sold this quilt to someone in the military overseas.Very honored they wanted my quilt!

Quilted by me.  First attempt at free motion machine quilting anything bigger than a 12 inch sandwich.

Sorry, but I don't have the ability (space) to hang it. LOL It was quilted by a friend in Mountain City, TN on her longarm. She did an edge to edge pattern.

That is stunning!!!

That's stunning.  Love the braided border.

I may steal that braided border if I can figure it out :)
Thx ladies. Connie you can steal the border idea. It is not a braid,; it is a chevron. Easy to do. I sewed 1.5 inch strips together. (About 10 at a time) I used approx, 18 inch long strips. The width of the border is determined by you. Cut on a 45 degree angle. Then do a reverse cut. Sew together. Voila. The center of the border is a set in square of the background fabric.
This is fabulous. The blocks, the colors, the border just all work so well together. Great job!

Just beautiful, Ethelda.  Love the border, love the whole thing.
