Hello ladies, I am new to the group as well as MQP. I also am expecting my 1st grand baby in Aug...a grandson. I will, of course, be making his quilt. My daughter has requested a jungle theme. I have also, in the pas,t made a lot of baby quilts for charity.
the fabric itself was block printed with all the different patterns, I had to buy it, it was just so darn cute
How cute is that?!! I'm not at all surprised that it sold quickly. Was it a print that had several different patches or did you piece several patches together for Sue's body and bonnet? Either way, it's an adorable quilt! Thanks for sharing!
Now i would put a skulls Sunbonnet Sue on my bed! And I don't like Sunbonnet Sue! Do you have a pic of the quilt, Viki?
Viki -- I must talk to you about Etsy LOL I wouldn't have thought pink skulls, but you're absolutely right .. it's point of impact and want :D
I posted the quilt on UFO's .. it's still waiting to be quilted. I'm muddling my way through Leah Day before I touch it -- but I will, was going to finish the videos tonight but I can't breathe -- still working on breathing ..
Love the quilts Karen :D
I love ALL of these. The little pink quilt is so femimine and the aqua one with baby buggies is really cute for a boy! My grandson loves dinosaurs, so he would have loved seeing that one too! Love the attic window look of the pattern.
