Come in and join in on a Strip Swap:

a 100% quilt store quality batik 2 1/2" strip x width of bolt 45". Send in 12 of the same and get 12 back different. 1 yard will give you 14 strips. Please make sure your strips are straight. Unfold the fabric let it hang down and shake it slightly. Refold to meet ends, ready to cut. Issues a-rise when people fold several times when the folds are not square - that is where the bend at the fold comes from. It takes practice to get many folds correct and a sharp blade. I do not ask beginners to fold several times, just cut on a larger cutting board. If you are friends with your quilt store gals, just tell them you need some help n they might just do it for you.

Must send a SASE. If you would like to join let me know by http://myquiltplace.com/group/batik-strip-swap or email me at gorskicheflisa@gmail.com. There are already 24 members and we have swapped out 10 times already! Some of the members are doing a Blooming Nine Patch and the Jewel Box quilt then posting their progress. Carla is our administrator and she is helping the members with their choice of fabrics. COME JOIN US ITS FUN FOR EVERYONE!
