Yes, I am working on a quilt for my MIL. But, to be fair, I am planning on entering it into a show in September first. I was hoping to start quilting it today, but discovered I don't have a piece of batting big enough. I'll have to start quilting tomorrow.

I'm working on another Hands of Love quilt to be given to my Son and Daughter in law, an updated version with their hands and the 3 Grandchildren.  Before you know it Christmas will be right around the corner.

I've got one finish for Christmas...a large lap quilt for my mom. One in the works...small wall hanging for my sister. I've never started this early for Christmas...maybe I've turned over a new leaf??  lol

Well, last year in October, I started making a table runner and place mats for Thanksgiving. I did not get it finished. I just had too much going on. I gave it a good effort though. I guess after I finish the quilt I'm working on now, I will try to finish that in time to decorate for Thanksgiving. I have a goal though to make my own table runners and place mats from now on. They are way too expensive in the stores.
