We are going a little loose this year.  You need to set yourself a goal.  Don't make it to outrageous.  Make it to where it might hurt just a little to attain, yet keep it realistic.  I think we all have been working at using some stash.  This will be fun this year because of all the outside influences on our quilt making.

Congratulations Beth!  That is wonderful news.

So happy you were able to have a vacation, sounds like fun.

I have totally fell off the wagon.  Went on vacation finally and stopped for my Quilters Trek blocks and ended up bringing home about 15 yards of fabric.  The good news is that most of it will be used up soon, the bad news is I have to report it. LOL

Oh, and we are going to have another grandbaby.  Our oldest daughter just found out she is 5 weeks along.  i know early, but she is so thrilled.  She has been trying for over two years and did not know if the fertility treatments were going to work.  We can't be happier.

Congratulations, Grandma Beth!

I refuse to report my fabric.  I think I have more in than out this year.  Next year will be different since I am not working full-time anymore.  No funds to spend.  If I need a good background fabric, will most likely buy it if is a good sale.  Will be a stash filled, kit making year.  Has anyone decided to set some quilt goals for next year?  I say goals instead or resolustions, seems more successful that way.

I like it!  Goals sound very motivational to me … not quite as daunting as resolutions.

I don’t have any definite numbers in mind for my stash for 2022 … I’ll be happy with emptying one of my many storage bins (either by using it or finding a new home for it).

I hope everyone has a Happy New Year!

My goals this year:

Scraps handled.  That means get my tubs down to at least just one instead of five.  I have been slowly sorting as I can.

My quilts quilted (20)

Sewing room organized.

With the completion of 2 smaller quilts, a humungous quilt for my nephew, and the SS projects, I think I can safely declare 25 yds. out. I can't remember if I posted anything before now. This has been a very screwy year for me.

Well I didn't make my goal - not even close.  I did work on several UFO's and used some fabric for backing etc, but they are not as yet finished.  Almost done and on their way to the LAQ.  Have several other quilts started as well as working on another UFO.  I will do much better this year so I will set my goal for 30 years out.  A much more doable number than the 50 I set for last year.
